atul's bollywood song a day- with full lyrics

Akele hain chale aao

Posted on: October 18, 2008

“Raaz” was a Rajesh Khanna movie produced in 1967, before he had become a superstar. In those days, Rafi used to be the playback singer for male lead, and that is indeed the case in this movie.

This song “akele hain chale aao” has been sung by Rafi as well as Lata. Personally, I like the Rafi version more.

Here is the Rafi version of the song. As one can notice, the haunting voice of Rafi is divine as always and the song has acquired the status of an evergreen song. The song was composed by Kalyanji Anandji, and the lyrics were written by a little known lyricist called Shamim Jaipuri.

And this song was one of the earliest hit songs from a Rajesh Khanna movie. And this song figures among the memorable songs of Rafi.
