Here is a song which I remember listening to in my younger days, though I never could find out those days which movie this song was from. That is how it was with loudspeaker songs those days. Unlike radio songs, they would not announce the name of the movie before playing such songs.

I had never heard about this movie called “Dil ne pukaara” (1967). And I may not be alone. This movie had Shashi Kapoor and Rajhshree in lead roles and I do not think this movie was any great shakes at the box office.

This was a wonderful “paayaliya” song from “Jugnu” (1973), before the newer “paayaliya ” song came up two decades later in “Deewaana” (1992).
