Saat samundar paar main tere peeche peeche aa gayi

on:This is a song from a movie of 1992 when majority of songs had would get forgotten within a few months. But this song was an exception.
The tune was catchy, and the lyrics was as good as it used to be during the golden era of Bollywood music. And a look at the names behind this music tells us why. It was that old warhorse Anand Bakshi who had written this song, and the music director was Viju Shah was a chip of the old block as he was the next generation music director from the family of Kalyanji Anandji. In other words, he was son of one of them ( I do not know which one, though).
This song was picturised on Divya Bharti and the villain Gulshan Grower too makes a smashing entry in this song.
This song is one that is loved by the persons of Indian origin, especially those settled in Africa, since this song has the ability to make them nostalgic about the land of their forefathers. And this tells us about the power of music.
Song-Saat samundar paar main tere peeche peechhe aa gayi (Vishwaatma) (1992) Singer-Sadhana Sargam, Lyrics-Anand Bakshi, MD-Viju Shah
Lyrics
saat samundar paar main tere peechhe peechhe aa gayi
zulmi meri jaan …
o zulmi meri jaan tere kadmon ke neeche aa gayi
saat samundar paar main tere peechhe peechhe aa gayi
main tere peechhe peechhe aa gayi
na rastaa maaloom na teraa naam-pataa maaloom
kaise mere pyaar ne tujhko dhoondhaa kyaa maaloom
seedhi tere paas …
seedhi tere paas main ankhiyaan meenche meenche aa gayi
saat samundar paar main tere peechhe peechhe aa gayi
main tere peechhe peechhe aa gayi
maine teri yaadon ke zulfon mein lagaaye phool
aage teri marzi tu kar na kar mujhe kabool
chhod ke main apne
chhod ke main apne baabul ke baag-bageeche aa gayi
saat samundar paar main tere peechhe peechhe aa gayi
main tere peechhe peechhe aa gayi
