Here is yet another forgotten gem from a forgotten movie called “Zindagi Aur Khwaab” (1961).
This movie had Rajendra Kumar and Meena Kumari in lead roles. This song “na jaane kahaan tum thhe” is not all that well known. It is sung by Manna Dey and Suman Kalyanpur. the song is written by Pradeep and the music is given by Dattaram. In other words, this song is indeed a rare gem created by a combination of artists who are not all that well known these days.

This song has kindled my interest in Dattaram. Incidentally I have an autographed photograph of Dattaram gifted to me by that radio fan that I wrote about in my other blog.

Wow…I am hearing this song after decades !!!
I had no clue which movie it was from and even who the singers were.
I only knew that I had heard this song before.
Nice song !
