I have posted a song from “Aaraam” (1951) in the past. This movie may not ring any bells with most fans, but this was a movie starring Dev Anand and Madhubala. And this movie had some nice songs in it.
Here is a sad song from this movie. It is sung by Lata. If I was not aware about the lead actors of this movie, I would have asked my readers to identify the lady on whom this song is picturised. But now I have got a bit wiser and I have begun to identify Madhubala when she was in her teens. Yes, this is a very young Madhubala on whom this song is picturised.
This is a sad song which is written by Rajinder Krishan. Anil Biswas is the music director.

One of the finest songs composed by Anil Biswas and equally balanced voice of Lataji. This song and another one Koi kisi ka diwana na bane by Lataji from Sargam are 2 out standing songs I relish all the time. Another master piece from maestro C Ramchandra. Any chance of that song on the blog
