“Aakhri Sajdaa” (1977) is a forgotten low budget movie that escaped public attention. The reason why I and like minded music lovers are interested in this movie is for a very important reason. It is the last movie of Sajjad Hussain as a music director. And that is a big reason for music lovers to be interested in this movie, or to be more precise, in the songs of this movie.
This movie had as many as five songs in it. Four of them have already been discussed. Here is the fifth and final song from this movie. It is a naatiyaa qawwali sung by Rafi and chorus. Mehboob Sarwar is the lyricist.
With this, we have discussed as many as 52 Sajjad Hussain songs in this blog, which is quite an impressive number, considering that Sajjad Hussain composed only about 100 songs in his career.
I have located some more Sajjad Hussain songs, and I will discuss them in due course.
