O P Nayyar style of music was quite popular and influential in late 1950s. Not just O P Nayyar, even other established music directors often created songs that sounded so similar to O P Nayyar music.

“Bhakt Surdas” (1942) a rich source of K L Saigal songs. I have so far discussed as many as 8 songs from this movie, and majority of these songs have been the voice of K L Saigal in them.

“Shakuntala”(1943) is a mythological movie that had actors like Chandra Mohan, Jayshree, Ameena, Nimbalkar, Nana Palsikar etc in it. This story was based on Sasnkrit story “Aabhigyan Shakuntalam” written by the great Sanskrit author Kalidas.

I have reached such a stage in discussing K L Saigal songs that now very few youtube videos involving K L Saigal songs have been left untouched. Very few of the remaining songs of K L Saigal may be available on youtube.
