Nazar milaayi to duniya se darna kyaa

Posted on: October 31, 2011

“Ek ke baad ek” (1960) is a movie which was produced by Raj Kala and directed by Raj Rishi. The star cast of the movie included names like Dev Anand, Tarla, S. K. Prem, Radhakrishan, Hiralal, Ravikant, Sharda, Prabhu Dayal, Madhu Apte etc.

Here is a delightful duet song from this movie which I had not heard before. this song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Rafi. The song is picturised on Tarla and Dev Anand. Kaifi Azmi is the lyricist and S D Burman composed the music.

On the occasion of S d Burman’s death anniversary, her is this nice song from “Ek Ke Baad Ek” (1960) as a tribute to the music director. Lyrics of this song were sent to me by nahm.

Lyrics(Provided by nahm)

aaa
aaa aaa
din pyaar ke
din pyaar ke
mile bhi na raate
chhodo ji chhode piyaa
duniya ki yeh baatein
nazar milaayi to duniya se darna kya
hamen mohabbat mein jeena hai marna kya
nazar milaayi to duniya se darna kya
hamen mohabbat mein jeena hai marna kya
nazar milaayi to

yeh zindagi
yeh zindagi
teri hai deewaani
dil ki lagi
dil hi pehchaane

ho o
dil mil gaye
uthha gham ka deraa
maane na maane koyi
main teri tu meraa
nazar milaayi to
duniya se darna kya
hamen mohabbat mein
jeena hai marna kya

nazar milaayi to

ham sab miley
ae ae
ham sab miley
toote jab deewaaren

deke khushi
saare gham hare
aaa
is raah mein dheere dheere aana
kaanton pe chalna hoga
chal ke ruk na jaana

nazar milaayi to
duniya se darna kya
hamen mohabbat mein
jeena hai marna kya

nazar milaayi to
duniya se darna kya
hamen mohabbat mein
jeena hai marna kya

nazar milaayi to

Whether this is the same Tarla or Tarla mehta who lip syncs the shola aur shabnam melodious song (Khaiyyam)
“jeet hi lenge hum tum baazi..khel adhoora choote na, pyaar ka bandhan, janam ka bandhan, janam ka bandhan toote na” along with
M.rajan and Dharmendra.

She was there also in Saara akash(1969),Ghar(Rekha starrer)and Ek chaadar maili si(hema malini starrer)

Tarla Maheta is a younger sister of a veteran actress Dina Pathak.
Also their elder sister Shanta Gandhi was noted dancer.
Dina Pathak had two daughters, Supriya Pathak (b. 1961) and Ratna Pathak (b. 1963),
Supriya is married to Naseeruddin Shah. While Ratna married to Pankaj Kapoor so she is step mom to Shahid Kapoor.

Derubala ji you have got the names mixed up. Supriya Pathank is married to Pankaj Kapoor, and Ratna is married to Naseeruddin Shah. Ratna Pathak Shah & Naseeruddin Shah both played the role of Imran Khan’s parents in the film “Jaane tu ya Jaane na”. With all the pathak females, it is a bit confusing. I once faced a question in rapid fire round of a quiz contest, “who is Ratna Pathak married to ?”.

you’re right :) I am always confused by both sisters look…about few years back one of the sister was in my flight and I am not sure which of the sister she was?
So, I won’t say.

Derubalaji

I didn`t know this at all.Thank you very much for this valuable information.

regards
prakash

Dina Pathak and my mother was born in same town. They used to known as Sanghavi sisters in Gujarat.
I saw this movie In 1961, it was free for all the students in high school, because of the theme “family Planning”. I was in 8 grade at the time.
