Lyrics

dekho o deewaanon,
tum ye kaam na karo
Raam ka naam badnaam na karo,
badnaam na karo

dekho o deewaanon,
tum ye kaam na karo
Raam ka naam badnaam na karo,
badnaam na karo

Raam ko samjho,
Krishhn ko jaano,
neend se jaago o mastaanon
Raam ko samjho,
Krishhn ko jaano,
neend se jaago o mastaanon
jeet lo man ko padh kar Geetaa
jeet lo man ko padh kar Geetaa
man hi haaraa to kya jeetaa,
to kya jeetaa
hare Krishhna hare Raam
hare Krishhna hare Raam
hare Krishhna hare Raam

jeewan ko nashe ka tum gulaam na karo
Raam ka naam badnaam na karo,
badnaam na karo

Raam ne hans kar sab sukh tyaage,
tum sab dukh se dar ke bhaage
Raam ne hans kar sab sukh tyaage,
tum sab dukh se dar ke bhaage
Krishhn ne karm ki reet sikhaayi
Krishhn ne karm ki reet sikhaayi
tumne farz se aankh churaai,
o Raam duhaayi
hare Krishhna hare Raam
hare Krishhna hare Raam
hare Krishhna hare Raam

jeewan naam hai kaam ka,
aaraam na karo
Raam ka naam badnaam na karo,
badnaam na karo
dekho o deewaanon,
tum ye kaam na karo
Raam ka naam badnaam na karo,
badnaam na karo

such a meaningful song!

Hope the new generation would remember these words and his message. Still the mind doesn’t want to accept the reality that Dev Saahab is no more. My father just said that the Hindi Cinema lost “sadabahaar hero”.
