“Guzaara” (1954) is quite an obscure movie by any standards. Few people have heard of this movie. That is true for its songs as well. I became aware of this movie mainly because of the farmaish of a song from this movie.
Here is this unheard of song from this unheard of movie. This song is sung by Lata. Music is composed by Ghulam Mohammad. I have been unable to find out about the lyricist of this song. I request our knowledgeable readers to tell us about the lyricist. In fact any informtion about this movie is welcome information.

very rightly it is an obscure movie but this song is beautiful one . probably i requested to have lyrics in this blog. thanx

Atul ji,
The song was written by Raja mehdi ali Khan.
There were 2 more lyricists,Fauq Zami and Muneer lucknowi.
For 8 songs in the film as many as 6 singers were used.They were Rafi,Lata,Asha,Shamshad,Shyam kumar and Hridaynath Mangeshkar-the youngest brother of Lata and Asha ji.This was his first Hindi Film song.
Guzara was a debut film for Jabeen Jaleel,about whom I wrote on 18-2-2012.
Guzara was also the last song and last film for Shyam kumar,before he finally migrated to Pakistan.
SMYusuf,the director of Guzara had a penchant for acting in films.In his career of 22 years and 26 films,he had acted in all his films.
