Haseenon ki aankhon ka taara rahoonga

When I met Sudhir Jee a few days ago, one of the things that we discussed was the fact that there are so many film personalities that we have discussed and many more that are not yet covered and not yet discussed. How we would like to have a comprehensive list of all the anniversaries of all the film personalities, so that we could discuss their songs on their anniversaries. Once we have our list of anniversary dates ready, we may have our hands full, what with every date of the year most likely having a few anniversaries.
The month of July is already a month where we have been seeing quite a few anniversaries. Today (29 july) appears to be an especially important day as far as anniversaries are concerned. We have already discussed as many as three anniversaries today and we are not yet fully done with the day. There is one more important anniversary today.
Today is the death anniversary of Johny Walker ( 11 november 1923 – 29 july 2003), the much beloved comedian of the golden era of Hindi movies.
There is no dearth of songs picturised on Johny Walker. He was such an important actor that he commanded at least one song in every movie that he acted in during his prime, viz in 1950s and 1960s.
Here is a party song from “Pyaar Ka Sapna” (1969). This party takes place aboard a Ship in Turkey.
This song is sung by Rafi. The picturisation shows several other persons, including many ladies partying hard on this song. Biswajeet is also visible in the picturisation, but he does not participate in the singing and/or dancing and he is content watching the proceedings.
