“Elaan” (1947) was one of the major movies of Mehboob Productions and one whose messages are relevant even today. This movie, which was produced and directed by Mehboob Khan had Surendra, Munawwar Sultana, Zebunissa, Agha, Shahnawaz, W. M. Khan, Leela Mishra, Rita, Shaheda, Subhasini, Reehan, Mohammad Afzal etc in it.
As many as nine songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the tenth song from the movie. It is a wedding song, in which the sahelis of the bride sing this song.
The song is sung by Zohrabai Ambalewaali and chorus. Zia Sarhadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad.
