“Boyfriend” (1961) was an N S Films Production. It was produced and directed by N S Viz Naresh Saigal. The movie had Shammi Kapoor, Madhubala, Achla Sachdev, Nishi, Maruti, Amirbai Karnataki, Dharmendra, Sudesh Kumar, Dhumal etc in it.
This movie had seven songs in it. As many as six of them have been discussed in the past. Here is the seventh and final song from this movie.
This song is “Dekho na jaao ae beraham”, which is the female version of the song ” Dekho na jaao ae jaaneman” which figures earlier in the movie. The female version is sung by Lata. It is written by Shailendra and music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
The song is picturised as a stage song. Who is the actress performing this song on stage ? Going by the starcast and the story, it should be Madhubala, but Honestly speaking I am unable to identify her (and not for the first time). I request our knowledgeable readers t o help identify her.

Atul ji,
Prakash ji is right .She IS Nishi.
It so happened that when the film Boy Friend was nearing its final stages of shooting,madhubala fell ill.She had to be taken to England for treatment,hence Nishi replaced her for the balance film and it got completed that way.
This info is given in the Addendum of HFGK.

The lady also IS Amirbai karnataki.

I think the dancer is Nishi Kohli (She is producer,director Raj Kumar kohli`s wife and mother of small time hero Armaan Kohli)and the character artiste who watches the dance is Shivraaj and Who is the lady sitting besides Shivraaj, whether she is Amirbai Karnataki. I don`t know her face exactly. That`s a guess work.
And the police inspector is Dharmendra(in one of his earlier screen appearances)
