Bin dekhe aur bin pehchaane tum par ham qurbaan

Posted on: December 13, 2012

“Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai” (1961) was a Nasir Hussain Films production. It was produced and directed by Nasin Hussain. The movie had Dev Anand, Asha Parekh, Pran, Raj Mehra, Mubarak, Sulochana Latkar, Wasti, Rajendra Nath, Tahir Hussain, Dulari, Bishan Khanna, Ram Avtar etc in it.

As many as six songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the seventh song from this movie. This song is sung by Rafi and it is picturised on Dev Anand. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Atif M.

I wonder how many more songs from this movie still remain to be discussed. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this matter.

Song-Bin dekhe aur bin pehchaane tum par ham qurbaan(Jab Pyaar Kisi se hota hai)(1961) Singer-Rafi, Lyrics-Shailendra, MD-Shankar Jaikishan

Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)

bin dekhe aur bin pehchaane
tum par hum qurbaan
mohabbat isko kehte hain
mohabbat isko kehte hain
bin dekhe aur bin pehchaane
tum par hum qurbaan
mohabbat isko kehte hain
mohabbat isko kehte hain
gar tum par na marte
to jeena thha aasaan
mohabbat isko kehte hain
mohabbat isko kehte hain

chaahat ke sandese
lekar aati hai shaam
gar tum bhi aa jaate
to aa jaata aaraam
chaahat ke sandese
lekar aati hai shaam
gar tum bhi aa jaate
to aa jaata aaraam
dil ki basti bas hi jaati
meri har dhadkan yeh gaati
tum aate to mujh par hota
kitna bada ehsaan
bin dekhe aur bin pehchaane
tum par hum qurbaan
mohabbat isko kehte hain
mohabbat isko kehte hain

bekal mere armaan
bekal hai mera pyaar
kab se main karta hoon
tumhaara intezaar
bekal mere armaan
bekal hai mera pyaar
kab se main karta hoon
tumhaara intezaar
kab se meri baahen sooni
jeewan ki yeh raahen sooni
tum bin kaise poore honge
dil mein base armaan
bin dekhe aur bin pehchaane
tum par hum qurbaan
mohabbat isko kehte hain
mohabbat isko kehte hain

honthon pe hai har dum
tumhaara pyaara naam
phir bhi chup rehta hoon
main apne dil ko thhaam
honthon pe hai har dum
tumhaara pyaara naam
phir bhi chup rehta hoon
main apne dil ko thhaam
meri tumhaari pyaar ki baaten
khul na jaayen raaz ki baaten
maano na maano pyaar chhupaana
itna nahin aasaan
bin dekhe aur bin pehchaane
tum par hum qurbaan
mohabbat isko kehte hain
mohabbat isko kehte hain
gar tum par na marte
to jeena thha aasaan
mohabbat isko kehte hain
mohabbat isko kehte hain

Atul ji,
Now only 2 songs are remaining,as following-
1.Jab pyar kisi se hota hai…Rafi and
2. Seeto peeto reeto…Lata and chorus.

Thanks for this information.

The title song, both Rafi and Lata versions are already posted.

I was also wondering where this song has gone as it was not listed under the film’s name.
It means now only one song is remaining.

Atif ji , thanks for taking us to down memory lane again,
thanks Atul ji !!!
after so many years got to hear this song again.

Atul-ji, did you know that the role of the protagonist was initially offered to Shammi Kapoor? Shammi couldn’t promise the dates needed and Dev Anand stepped in. Today, we can’t imagine ‘Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai’ without Dev-saab!

JPKHH was a typical, entertaining, Nasir Hussein movie, with the hero being introduced with the shot of his legs!
By the way, this song was a straight copy of ‘The Dancing Eyes’ from the Arabian Nights!!

Arun Ji, have not heard a song called Seeto Peeto Reeto before, is it called by some other name too?

Pradeepji.
Here is the link of the LUCKY song, which will get your Yippeee comment :)

Thank you Khyati Ji, but unfortunately, the video is not viewable in India :( .

Sorry Pradeep ji. Mujhe pata nahin thha ki gaane pe bhi sarhad ki paabandi lagaayi jaa sakti hai. :( Us pe woh gaana yaad aa gaya
“Panchhi nadiya pawan ke jhonke koi sarhad na inhe roke…”

This tune was copy of a western classical tune. I don’t recall the title of the original tune. But in those days the tune was a popular number in Radio Ceylon in Housewives’ Choice
