“Janam Janam Ke Phere” aka Sati Anapurna was a Mukti Films production movie. It was produced by Subhash Desai and directed by Manoo Desai. The movie had Nirupa Roy, Manhar Desai, MB M Vyas, S N Tripathi, Satish Vyas, Amar, Pandey, Kanta Kumari, Malay Sarkar, Champaklata, Krishna Kumari and Mahipal (guest artist) in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past including the iconic song Zara saamne to aao chhaliye.

Rafi is excellent! This movie was a big hit & its music, though not won any Popular awards, was the most popular of its time.
Director Manu Desai is different than Manmohan Desai, as many people now are thinking making mistake!. This Manu Desai had directed several Hindi & Gujarati films & his daughter Zankhana Desai is a popular Gujarati Stage & Screen actress.

I had been fortunate to get to watch many mythological films in my early childhood, and of course ‘zara saamne to aao’ has been fix there in my memory and also remember these lines ‘janam janam ke phere’ of this song. Great singing by Rafi saab. And Manhar Desai had his presence in many mythological films, thanks for reviving the nostalgia again.
