“Bhaabhi Ki Choodiyaan” (1961) was a Sadashiv Production movie. It was directed by Sadashiv Rao Kavi. The movie had Sailesh Kumar, Balraj Sahni, Meena Kumari, Seema, Master Aziz, Salvi, Sulochana, Ratnamala, Om Prakash, Durga Khote etc in it.
As many as seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from this movie.
This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on Seema Deo (I hope that I have identified the actress correctly). Pt Narendra Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sudhir Phadke.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Khyati Bhatt who believes that this is the final song from this movie. I request our other knowledgeable readers to confirm/ refute this fact.

Yes itis indeed Seema Deo. She wasn’t Deo as yet but soon would be.

Those Times & people were different ..my Heart is sad by the senseless loss of lives among them a child 8 years old & a 3 year old in hospital after the Boston Marathon blasts …:-(

All chaand songs are nice but,magic put by sudhir phadke in this song,is
small orchestra,minimum instruments,and sweetness of asha’s singing.
