Duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai

Posted on: March 5, 2013

“Khuda Ka Banda” (1957) was a Chitra Bharati presentation. It was directed by Chaturbhuj Doshi. The movie had Chandrashekhar, Krishna Kumari, Tiwari, Krishna Kumari, Ratnamala, Iswarilal, Maruti, Roopmala, Moni Chatterji, Ram Singh, Kamal Kapoor, Gope, Kanhaiyalal, Amirbai Karnataki, Maya Das, Jagdish Kamal, Azim, Parshuram, Pandit Iqbal etc in it.

Four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Going by the first few songs, I guessed that this movie had some nice songs with messages in them. Then I came across a lovely romantic song fro this movie.

I was not aware that this movie also has a light hearted song. Here is this lovely song with a fast paced music. This song is picturised on two bit actors whom I am unable to identify. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them.

The details about the singers of this lovely song are unavailable. Comments in YT (all copied from each other) mentions it as a solo song sung by Rafi. In reality this song is a duet song, and what is more, even the male singer does not sound like Rafi. Even HFGK is silent in this matter. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.

My guess is that Shewan Rizvi, the lyricist of the other songs of this movie has written this song as well. The music director is S N Tripathi, of course.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Nitin Shah.

Song-Duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai (Khuda Ka Banda)(1957) Singers-Male voice, Female voice, Lyrics-Shewan Rizvi, MD-S N Tripathi

Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)

jo bin paise ke ho jaaye
haaan aan aan
muhabbat usko kehte hai
bina paise ki ulfat ho to
laanat usko kehte hain

duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
sab paise hi ka jalwa hai
duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
sab paise hi ka jalwa hai

tujhe bhi ulfat paise ki hai
yahi to saara lafda hai

paisa izzat paisa taaqat
paisa deen imaan

paise se insaan bane shaitan arri naadaan
shaitan arri naadaan
shaitan arri naadaan
jo kaali gaal bajata hai
yahi to saara lafda hai
duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
sab paise hi ka jalwa hai

haay tujhe bhi ulfat paise ki hai
yahi to saara lafda hai

paise se insaan jiye
bin paise bhookha marta hai

chandi ke in tukdo ko to
gadha bhi nahin chakhta hai
gadha bhi nahin chakhta hai
aji gadha bhi nahin chakhta hai
kyun ullu mujhe banaata hai
yahi to saara lafda hai
duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
sab paise hi ka jalwa hai

arri tujhe bhi ulfat paise ki
yahi to saara lafda hai

paise hi se kapda zewar
paise hi se thaath

pyaar na ho jo shauhar ka to
resham bhi hai taat
resham bhi hai taat
resham bhi hai taat
kyun mujhko sabak padhaata hai
yahi to saara lafda hai
duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
sab paise hi ka jalwa hai

haay tujhe bhi ulfat paise ki
yahi to saara lafda hai

daulat hai to dulha ho tum
duniya hai baarati

maut ki aandhi chale to daulat
yahi dhari reh jaati
yahi dhari reh jaati
jee daulat yahi dhari reh jaati
kyun marne ke liye rota hai
yahi to saara lafda hai
duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
sab paise hi ka jalwa hai

haay tujhe bhi ulfat paise ki
yahi to saara lafda hai

paisa paisa kya karti hai
paisa haath ka mail
paise bin insaan jahaan mein
kolhu ka hai bail
achha to le jaata hoon
per paise lekar aata hoon
ye aaj samajh mein aaya hai
duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
ye aaj samajh mein aaya hai
duniya mein sab kuchh paisa hai
sab paise hi ka jalwa hai

This is a wonderful song. The male singer is nobody else but Rafi sahab . Nobody else could have done so many voice modulations in such quick succession and be so clear in words and sound good. Anyway Rafi has used this particular voice in many songs.

The excel sheet of Rafi songs is not having this song, and myswar.com is not giving any singers name. There are many words in the song like ‘duniya’ ‘ hain’ etc. which can prove that this is Rafi only.
