arrey hey ae
hai mubarak aaj ka din
raat aayee hai suhaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani

o o shaadmaani
hai mubarak aaj ka din
raat aayee hai suhaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani

aaj toh nashaa aissaa chadhaa
poochho na yaaron
main hoon aasmaan pe
mujhe neeche utaaro
aaj toh nashaa aissaa chadhaa
poochho na yaaron
(hic)
main hoon aasmaan pe
mujhe neeche uthaaro
mujhpe sadaa hansti raho
yoon hi bahaaron
milke mere saath naacho
aapki hai meharbaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani (hic)

hai mubarak aaj ka din
raat aayee hai suhaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani
shaadmani
o o shaadmaani

dekho meri aankhon mein hai dorey gulaabi
main toh nahin peetaa huaa
phir bhi sharaabi
dekho meri aankhon mein hai dorey gulaabi
main toh nahin peetaa huaa
phir bhi sharaabi
ye hai tere pyaar ka nashaa
chandaa si bhaabhi
bhaiyya raaja ghar mein leke
aa gayaa pariyon ki raani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani

hai mubaarak aaj ka din
raat aayee hai suhaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani
shaadmaani
o o shaadmaani

aangan mein yoon barse sadaa khushiyon ki jhadi
baandhe tere sehre mein ye aashaa ki ladi
aangan mein yoon barse sadaa khushiyon ki jhadi
baandhe tere sehre mein ye ashaa ki ladi
meri khushnaseebi hai jo dekhe ye ghadi
hai nayaa andaaz chaahe reet hai wohi puraani
shaadmaani ho o oshaadmaani
shaadmaani o o shaadmaani

hai mubarak aaj ka din
raat aayee hai suhaani
shaadmaani o o shaadmaani
shaadmaani o o shaadmaani

I have always thought the word to be ‘Shaadmani’ . The singers are pronouncing it differently sometimes.

Meaning of ‘Shaadmani’ could be anything from ‘wedding celebration’ to ‘happy occasion’ or ‘celebration of happiness’ I am not sure. ‘Celebration of happiness’ should be more accurate.

and i always sang it as “Shaazmani” hope the knowledgeble characters in Atuldom will enlighten us
