“Malhaar” (1951) was one movie in which Roshan had come into his own and he created some wonderful songs that have gone on to become immortal. I have posted one of these songs (bade armaanon se rakkhaa hai kadam) in the past.

The movie is called “Chhaila Babu”, but it is not the Rajesh Khanna starrer of 1970s, rather this was a movie that was produced in early 1960s.

This is a very popular “betrayal” song. In fact, I am amazed that I did not think of this category before. This is a category of song where one person feels betrayed and sings a song expressing his hurt.
