This article is written by nahm, a fellow enthusiast of Hindi movie music and a regular contributor to this blog.

This is one more duet by Mohammed Rafi and Geeta Dutt from the film ‘Chunariya’ (1948). Music Director is Hansraj Behl and lyricist is Mulkraj Bhakri. Four songs of this film are already posted in the blog and none of them are having video links. The songs of this film are specially poignant with these two solos by Lata and Rafi, viz. Dil e nashaad ko jeene ki hasrat ho gayee tumse and Sab kuchh lutaayaa hamne aakar teri gali mein. The song I am discussing also just has an audio link.
