Today(25th may) happens to be the seventh death anniversary of Sunil Dutt (6 june 1929-25 may 2005). Born Balraj Dutt, Sunil Dutt was one of the earliest Radio Ceylon announcers before he got his break in Hindi movies in “Railway Platform” (1955).

“Amar” (1954) was a Mehboob Productions movie. It was directed by Mehboob Khan. The movie had Dilip Kumar, Nimmi, Madhubala, Jayant, Ulhas, Mukri, Amar, Shakeel Nomani, Husn Banu, Murad etc in it.

The movie had Dilip Kumar, Vyjyantimala, Nasir Khan, Helen, Azra, Kanhaiyalal, Anwar, Nazir Hussain, S. Nazir, Akashdeep, Aruna, Naaz, Praveen Paul, Leela Chitnis etc in it.

“Ganga Jamuna” (1961) is a movie that I tend to cinfuse with “Ram Aur Shyam”(1967) all the time. Both movies had Dilip Kumar in them, and both movies had the same musical team, and that is the reason for my confusion.
