In this fourth song of “Aarti” that I am posting in this blog, The two lead actors have become familiar with each other and they can take the liberty of opening their hearts to each other.
And in this song, that is exactly what Pradeep Kumar does. He is talking about the shabaab (beauty) of Meena Kumari in this song.
And this song had turned out to be the most popular song from this movie. This song had finished 3rd in Binaca geetmala final of 1962.

Mashallah Rafi saab, Majrooh saab aur Roshan saab ke is behtereen peshkash ke baare main kuchh bhi kahen to kam hi hai.

Was browsing through your tremendous coverage of Roshan and “Aarti” in particular. One song you might want to include is a Mahendra Kapoor song “Aap aaye to Khyal e dil”
