Ae muhabbat unse milne ka bahaanaa ban gayaa

Posted on: August 26, 2011

“Baazaar” (1949) is a movie that starred Nigar Sultana, Shyam, Gope,Yaqoob,Kukku etc in it. I have discussed three songs from this movie in the past.

Here is a duet from this song. it is sung by Rafi and Lata. only the audio of this song is available, but going by the picturisation of another Rafi Lata duet from this movie, one can guess that this song is picturised on Shyam and Nigar Sultana.

Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shyam Sundar. It is a lovely song of the “feelings of the heart” genre.

Lyrics

ae muhabbat unse milne
ae muhabbat unse milne
ka bahaana ban gayaa
tumne dekha hamne dekha
tumne dekha hamne dekha
ik fasaanaa ban gayaa

ae muhabbat unse milne
ka bahaana ban gayaa

aapki neechi nazar ke teer kaise teer hain
aapki neechi nazar ke teer kaise teer hain
teer chalne bhi na paaye
teer chalne bhi na paaye
dil nishaanaa ban gayaa
ae muhabbat unse milne
ka bahaana ban gayaa

dil ne pehli hi nazar mein
kar liya kuchh faislaa
dil ne pehli hi nazar mein
kar liya kuchh faislaa
saaz chheda bhi nahin aur
saaz chheda bhi nahin aur
ik taraana ban gayaa
ae muhabbat unse milne
ka bahaana ban gayaa

nazren milne bhi na paayin
tum nazar mein aa basey
nazren milne bhi na paayin
tum nazar mein aa basey
tinke dhoondhe bhi nahin aur
tinke dhoondhe bhi nahin aur
aashiyaan ban gayaa
ae muhabbat unse milne ka bahaana ban gayaa

The animated watermark is extremely distracting. I will provide an alternative video link without such annoyance, time permitting, because I think I have this movie with me.
