“Sansaar” (1951) was a Gemini Pictures production. It was directed by S S Vasan. The movie had Ishwarlal, M. K. Radha, Vanaja, Mohana, Agha, Meera, J. S. Kashyap, Anil Kumar, Kalla, Ratnappa, Pushpavalli, Swaraj, David Abraham etc in it.
Four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fifth song from this movie. This song is sung by Lata. It is picturised on a lady whom I am unable to identify. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her.
Pt Indra Chandra is the lyricist. There were two music directors in this movie viz E S Sastry and M D Parthasarathi. I have no idea whether they works as a team or independently. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this matter.

Title sequences of the movie shows name of
M.D.Parthasarathy as Music supervisor and
2 names as music directors of the movie
“E.Sankara Sastry”and “B.S.Kalla”
and the one more actress is there in the movie namely “Gulab”, so the actress on whom this song was picturised may be Vanaja or Gulab or Meera.
I think it is VANAJA based on my gut feeling only. I don`t anything about the actress.

I wanted to know the lip-synching actress name right from one of the horses mouth !! So I asked Anil Kumar & Ratnappa (The child artists of ‘Sansar’) Rathnaji promptly replied.

Dear Bharat bhai,
Her name is Vanaja, a South Indian actress who was featured in most of the Gemini films in those days. They used to say that she was a ‘friend’ of Mr. S. S. Vasan, the owner of Gemini Studios and the producer of “Sansar” and other hit movies of those days.

Pushpavalli is Rekha`s mother, it is not Pushpavalli,I know her, at that time, she is doing motherly roles.She is not Mohana, then the actress must be either Vanaja or Meera. Any one Correct me please
