“Chitralekha” (1964) has some superb songs in it. As many as five songs from this movie, including most well known songs, have already been discussed.
Here is another song from this movie. I had not heard this song till I got the lyrics of this song from Prakashchandra. This song is in the same league as the other songs from this movie.
This song is a duet sung by Asha Bhonsle and Rafi. Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
This song is picturised on Meena Kumari and Pradeep Kumar. It is interesting to see Roshan use the voice of Lata as well as Asha Bhonsle for Meena Kumari in different songs of this movie.
