Raadhe raani de daaro naa bansari mori re

on:In the series of K L Saigal songs that we have undertaken in this blog, here is another remarkable song. This song is from K L Saigal’s earliest movie, viz “Pooran Bhagat” (1933).As many as four songs from this movie have been discussed, including three K L Saigal songs, and all of them are immortal songs. And this song is no different.
This song is so sweetly sung, so nicely written and so well composed that listening to this song is a divine experience, especially if one is familiar with the reference to Krishna and Radha made in this song. Lord Krishna takes cattles to the jungle every morning and brings them back home at dusk. while staying there the whole day, he plays his beloved flute. This flute has a mesmeric effect on all, human beings as wrll as animals. He in fact uses this flute to gather the cattle.
This song is written by Basant Kumar Dubey and the song is composed by R C Boral.
Here is this fantastic song that will enthrall the listeners no end. This song has K L Saigal at its divine best !

Radhe Rani
please return back my flute
How am I going to play my flute
how am I going to sing
how am I going to bring home your cows
create music with your lips
sing with your throat
use a stick to bring home my cows
this flute is as dear to me as life itself
and the same flute has been taken away by her
Radhe Rani
please return back my flute
Radhe dear
please return back my flute
