‘Veer Chhatrasaal-1971’ was directed by Harsukh Bhatt for Shree Ganesh Films, Bombay. As the ‘title’ suggests this film was a ‘Historical’ genre film and based on the life of the Great Warrior of Bundela Maharaj Chhatrasaal (4 May-1649 – 20 December 1731) who established his own kingdom ‘Bundelkhand’.

on:In olden days, whenever a King had to make any public announcement, he would sent a royal announcer who would go to a public place, namely a market or a square. He would have a drummer with a huge Nagaada (an Indian musical drum) with him. The nagaadaa player was called nagaadchi.
