“Mera Naam Joker” (1970) was produced and directed by Raj Kapoor for R K Films, Boombay. This movie had Raj Kapoor, Manoj Kumar, Simi Garewal, Rishi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Dara Singh, Kseniya Ryabinkina, Padmini, Rajendra Kumar, Om Prakash, Rajendra Nath, Achala Sachdev, Eduard Sjereda etc in it.

Raj Kapoor (14 December 1924 – 2 June 1988), the producer-director-actor of this movie was born this day 93 years ago.

Ten songs from “Mera Naam Joker” (1970) have already been covered in the blog. Only one song from the movie is left. This remaining song is an English song which is sung by school kids, including a young Raju (played by Rishi Kapoor, making his debut in movies with this role) as Mary (Simi Garewal), their school teacher gets married to David (Manoj Kumar).

The song is sung by an unknown voice and chorus. Lyricist is not known. It is composed by Shankar Jaikishan, of course.

I request our readers with keener ears to help point our a few missing/ correct words that I may have missed in the lyrics. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the identity of the singer as well as the lyricist of this song.

With this song, the eleventh and final song from the movie, “Mera Naam Joker” (1970) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
