“Faislaa”(1965) was produced and directed by Jugal Kishore for Jugal Productions, Bombay. The movie had Shaikh Mukhtar, L.Vijayalaxmi, Jugal Kishore, Jagdeep, Jagdev, Sulochana Chatterji, Jeevan, Niranjan Sharma, Sabina, Ravikant, S.K.Shukla, Ashita Puri, Baby Premlata, Haroon, Sheela, Meherbanoo, Ajit, Soni, V.Soni, Bam Lahri, Lalchand, Jagdish, R.L.Soni, Ashok,Shakti Sabharwal, S.L.Sharma, Helen, V.K.Sabherwal, Kishen Sharma, Golly, Ram Kumar, Khrushid, G.S.Gaija, Surinder Sharma, Nazir Kashmiri, S.K.Joshi, Kapoor, Sadiq etc in it.
“Faislaa”(1965) was later remade as “Dada”(1978) with changed cast and that movie, unlike “Faisla”(1965) turned out to be a surprise hit.
Failure of “Faislaa”(1965) was because its casting was not to public liking. Jagdeep, a quintessential comedian, was cast as hero (same role as essayed by Vind Mehra in “Dada”(1978) and that sealed the fate of “Faislaa”(1965).
“Faislaa”(1965) had seven songs in it. Four songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fifth song from “Faislaa”(1965) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Usha Khanna and chorus. Asad Bhopali is the lyricist. Music is composed by Usha Khanna.
The song is lip synced by L Vijaylaxmi. She is accompanied by several female dancers singing in chorus. One can identify Edwina and Manjula among them. Jugal Kishore and Jagdeep are also visible in the picturisation.

“Faisla” (1965) is a B grade movie which had Jugal Kishore,Jagdeep, Sheikh Mukhtaar etc. Later, this movie was remade in 1970s as “Dada” (1978).
Both these movies had music by Usha Khanna.

I have stumbled upon yet another “new” song for me. The movie is called “aao pyaar karen”. It has Joy Mukherjee and Saira Bano as the lead actors and this is a movie from 1964, so one can safely assume that the story line has got to be similar to Shammi Kapoor movies of those days.
