Regulars of this blog are aware that almost all available songs of Suraiyya have already been discussed in the blog. We are now scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as remaining Suraiyya songs are concerned. The remaining Suraiyya songs are rare and obscure songs and we have decided to discuss them only on the occasions of Suraiyya’s anniversaries, at the rate on one song per anniversary. That way, we may still have songs to take care of next three or four years at least.

I was toying with the idea of presenting a song sung by Kalyani Das immediately after my last write-up. I had already identified her song from ‘Manmaani’ (1947).
