“Renuka”(1947) was directed by Ramesh Sahgal for Jayant Desai productions, Bombay. This “social” movie had Mubarak, Hemawati, Afzal, Shreemati Vijaydas, Shashi Kapoor (senior), Baby Vimla, Chanda Bai, Kesar Bai, Sati devi, Dharpure, etc in it.

The movie had twelve songs in it. Four songs have been covered in the past.

Here is the next song from the movie. This song is “o bewafa zamaane toone dagha kiya hai.”

The song is sung by Ram Prasad Sharma. Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sardar Malik.

I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.

Song-O Bewafa zamaane toone daga kiya hai(Renuka)(1947) Singer-Ramprasad Sharma, Lyrics-Qamar Jalalabadi, MD-Sardar Malik

Lyrics

o bewafa zamaane ae ae
toone daga kiya hai
o bewafa zamaane ae ae
toone daga kiya hai
do dil mile huye the ae ae
unko juda kiya hai
itna mujhe bata de
rasme wafa yahi hai
itna mujhe bata de
rasme wafa yahi hai
o pyaar karne waale ae kyon dard de diya hai
o pyaar karne wale kyon dard de diya hai
o bewaafa zamane
tune daga kiya hai
do dil mile huye the ae ae
unko juda kiya hai

pahle mile thhe kaise
aur ab mile hain kaise
pahle mile thhe kaise
aur ab mile hain kaise
hum soch kya rahe thhe ae ae
kismat ne kya kiya hai
hum soch kya rahe thhe ae ae
kismat ne kya kiya hai
o bewafa zamaane ae ae
toone daga kiya hai

Blog 10-Year Challenge (2010-2020) – Song No. 52
———————————————————————————–

Ten years ago on this day, viz on 8 august 2010, the blog clocked as many as seven songs !!

Here are the details:-

Song Movie title-Year Remarks
Muhabbat cheez hai kyaa muhabbat kar ke dekhenge Ye Raat Phir Naa Aayegi-1966 All songs covered
Teri yaad naa dil se jaa saki Chaand Aur Suraj-1965 All songs covered

Lo chalen ham behke qadam aaj khushi se Zimbo-1958 All songs covered
Chal diya dil mera tod ke Fifty Fifty-1956 05 songs posted

When I checked up on that day ten years ago, I realised that the day fell on a sunday. On week days I was posting six articles a day, and this holiday gave me additional time to post a whopping ONE song more. 🙂

The weekend is upon us now as well. Can I cover similar number of songs that I did ten years ago on the same days. Lots of water has flown under the bridges. Things and circumstances are entirely different. I find myself a bit more encumbered now that what I was ten years ago. Still, let us keep oyr fingers crossed. We achieved nine post a feat this year too, on 31 july 2020.

Six out of seven movies whose songs were covered that day have since been YIPPEED. Only one movie, viz “Fifty Fifty” (1956) remains unyippeed and hence eligible for Blog ten year challenge today.

“Fifty Fifty” (1956) had eight songs in it. This movie had made its debut on this day ten years ago. Since then, four more songs from the movie have been covered. So overall five songs of “Fifty Fifty”(1956) have been covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

Song Posted On
Chal diya dil mera tod ke 08.08.2010
Aadhi tum khaa lo aadhi ham khaa len 25.08.2010
Mere jaisa nahin milega ulfat ka deewaanaa 14.09.2012
Ye bhool huyi bhoole se kabhi 13.07.2013
Shaam ka aanchal dhalkaa 23.06.2016

Here is the sixth song from “Fifty Fifty” (1956) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Lata. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Madan Moghan.

This blog used to cover a lot of songs of Madan Mohan in the past, including ten years ago. 65 of Madan Movies (out of 96), including most of his movies of 1950s and 1960s, have already been YIPPEED. So very few songs of Madan Mohan are still left to be covered. So it came as a pleasant surprise to me that there are still a few Madan Mohan songs from 1950s that are not yet covered. There are 7 unyippeed movies of Madan Mohan from 1950s and 8 unyippeed movies of Madan Mohan from 1950s. So we still have a few more Madan Mohan songs that can be discussed in the blog.

Only the audio of the song is available. ISeeing that Nalini Jaiwant was the leading lady, my guess is that the song was picturised on her.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Avinash Scrapwala.

Today’s song is from the film Taramati-45. This is an obscure film. None of its songs are available on YouTube or with Saregama. I was lucky to get hold of this rare song from one of my friends. Taramati-45 was produced by Ramniklal Shah, under his banner Ramnik Films. Yes, he is the same Ramniklal Shah, who married actress Indurani. Ramnik productions were known to make action/stunt films or C grade adventure films. Sometimes they would go for Mythological films. Actually, this was their first Mythological film.

Right from the silent era, the studio system was quite strong. Every notable studio had its own group of actors, directors and composers, along with technical staff. Most were on monthly pay rolls. They were tied up to the studio by a written contract. After the entry of Talkie films, studios became more alert in keeping or holding their people with them. This actually became a limitation for the actors and directors, who wanted to fly high and earn more. The second world war added to the woes of studios. Increasing costs, shortages of raw film and demanding artistes virtually broke the studios.

In or around the early 40’s, the studio system started giving away. When the studios broke up, they gave way to new establishments. Sagar gave way to National and Mehboob studios, Bombay Talkies fragmented into Filmistan, N R Acharya films and later filmalaya, New Theatre directors started their own companies like Bimal Roy, Barua, Nitin Bose etc., Prabhat made way for Rajkamal, Nene production, Alhad Chitra of Dharmadhikari etc.

Film Das baje -42 was a film made at the time when Prabhat’s disintegration had started. Shantaram had already walked out to start Rajkamal. After the film Das Baje-42, during 1943, another batch of Raja Nene, Shantaram Atavale, Datta Dharmadhikari and Keshavrao Bhole left Prabhat, while film Ramshastri was in the making. K.Bhole however, completed the music composition of film Ramshastri before leaving Prabhat and the balance film was directed by Gajanan Jahagirdar.

All this team joined Mohan studios. Some of the actors too joined them to make the film Taramati-45. The young director Raja nene, with a lot of experience in acting and of being the assistant director in Prabhat with the stalwarts like Shantaram, Damle and Fattelal was appointed Director of this Mythological film. He also had the experience of independently directing a successful film Dus Baje-42. Pt.Mukhram Sharma wrote the dialogues and songs. The story was developed by G P Pawar and Shantaram Athavale The music was looked after by Keshavrao Bhole and Ramchandra Pal. The cast included, Shobhana Samarth, Vasant Thengdi, Baby Shakuntala, Ananth Marathe and others. The film was released on 8-9-1945 at the Roxy Cinema in Bombay.

Raja Nene was born in a small village in Konkan, on 18-12-1912. His real name was Gajanan Hari Nene. His early education was done in his hometown and he graduated from a college in Ratnagiri. He was the nephew of Vishnupant Damle, a partner in Prabhat Films. After his graduation, Damle employed him in Prabhat as an assistant Director.

Raja assisted Shantaram in the film Vasantsena-35 and Amar Jyoti-36. During the making of the film Sant Tukaram, he was shifted to Damle-Fattelal duo as their assistant Director and he became a key figure in making that film. Subsequently, he continued with Damle – Fattelal duo in their other ventures like Gopal Krishna-38 and Sant Dnyaneshwar-40. For film Sant Sakhu-41, his name was included as one of the directors, along with Damle-Fattelal. In between, he also acted in the film Duniya na maane-37.

In 1942, he directed his first independent film ” Dus Baje” a Marathi-Hindi bilingual. Meanwhile, V Shantaram, a mentor for all junior aspirants and his proteges, left Prabhat to start his own studio-Rajkamal Kalamandir. Same time, a new film of Prabhat-“Ramshastri” was given to Nene for direction. However, a group of Shantaram loyalists – Athavale, Dharmadhikari, Mukhram Sharma, Raja nene and Keshavrao Bhole – decided to leave Prabhat. The incomplete film Ramshastri-44 was completed by Gajanan Jagirdar, in addition to doing the lead role in the film. Keshavrao Bhole also completed his work before leaving Prabhat.

The entire group joined Mohan studios. After the film Taramati-45, Nene started his own company – Raja Nene Productions and made the film ” Shadi se Pehle”-1947. Nene not only acted in the film, but also directed it along with Debutant director Datta Dharmadhikari. After Rajkamal, Nene Productions was the next big production house to emerge from Prabhat Films. It was followed by Alhad Chitra of Datta Dharmadhikari.

After directing film Lalat-47 ( debut film of actress Ushakiran), Nene turned to Marathi films, acting and directing hit films like, Patthe Baburao and Ketakichya Banaat, Sant Ramdas etc. He returned to Hindi films and directed Shri Vishnu Bhagwan-51, Bhai ka pyar-51, Rajrani Damayanti-52, Lanka Dahan-52, Indrasen-52, Radha krishna-54, Pehli Tarikh-54, Hanuman Janma-57 and Gauri Shankar-58.

In between and after 1958, Nene directed only Marathi films, but acted in few Hindi films. His film Pehli Tarikh-54 was a hit film and the famous Kishore song, ” Khush hai zamana aaj pehli tarikh hai” was filmed on him only. Film Pehli Tarikh was remade in Kannada and Tamil by P. Neelkantham as Modaltedi-55. Raja Nene expired on 21-2-1975 at Bombay. He directed 16 Hindi films and acted in 14 Hindi films from 1937 to 1975. ( Ack: based on information from ” Marathi Cinema in Retrospect” by Sanjit Narwekar and Encyclopedia of Indian Cinema, Film India-Nov.45 with thanks.)

There is one unusual name in the cast of the film – Vasant Thengdi. Vasant Thengadi was born on 11-1-1910 at Nagpur. He was the son of Congress leader Dhaniram Thengadi. Vasant had his education in Poona. He could not join the Army, because of his father’s political connections. He had to leave his Engineering college after his father’s death. Being very handsome, tall and with good physique, he started working in Marathi dramas and films. He started his Hindi work with film Dhuwandhar-35. ( This was also the Debut film for Leela Chitnis and Meera Alexander). He started doing Villain roles and became popular and famous. Besides Marathi films, his Hindi films were Taramati-45, Phir bhi apna hai-46, Mera Ladka-38, Din Raat-45, Ten o clock-42 etc. Later he also worked as assistant director to Raja Nene.

Today’s film, as the name suggests, is a well known story of Harishchandra-Taramati. This is a story which appears in Aitareya Bramhanya, Mahabharat, Markendeya puran and Devi Bhagwat. This story has been quite popular with our filmmakers from the earliest era. As we all know, the first Silent feature film was Raja Harishchandra-1913, made by Dadasaheb Phalke. In the silent era there were 3 films called Raja Harischandra-in 1913, 1917 and 1927. There were two films called Harishchandra in 1928 and 1929. There were two Talkie films, Raja Harishchandra in 1952 and 1979, There was also a Satyavadi Harishchandra in 1931 itself. The story was so well known, that no wonder, film Taramati-45 did not do well at all at the box office.

Today’s song is sung by Baby Shakuntala. When I requested our Sadanand Kamath ji to upload this song for me, after listening to the song, this is what he said, ” This is one of the rarest songs which, to my mind, even SAREGAMA does not have mp3 clips of any song from the film.

Also, this is one of those marching songs which has been composed with a subdued orchestra giving more emphasis on the lyrics to inspire the listeners. The voice of Baby Shakuntala is neither ‘baby’ nor ‘adult’ but has the correct resonance for the marching song.” Very true.

Song-Veer abhimaan se badhta hua shaan se (Taramati)(1945) Singer – Baby Shakuntala, Lyricist – Pt. Mukhram Sharma, MD – Not known (Keshavrao Bhole or Ramchandra Pal)

Lyrics

Hullo Atuldom

7th August- remembrance day of Gulshan Kumar Mehta. It seems like just recently that my husband read the news of his demise from the morning papers and asked me who it was? I just rattled out a list of songs that were written by him and he was surprised that almost all the songs that I mentioned he knew he had heard but without knowing who had written it or other details about the song. Today is this Gulshan Kumar Mehta’s 11th anniversary. He is known popularly as Gulshan Bawra.

The name “Baawra” was goven to him by distributor Shantilal Dave who could not believe that the then 19 year old “Baawra” could write such meaningful lyrics. And this moniker “Baawra” stuck.

As I sat to write this post I found a link on youtube that gave me 45 minutes of Gulshan Bawra songs under the title “Best of Gulshan Bawra” and contained the following songs: tumhe-yaad-hogaa; Aapse humko bicchde huye ek zamaana beet gaya; Hamne jo dekhe sapne; Waada karle saajna tere bina main na rahoon; Le chal le chal mere jeewan saathhi; Jeewan ke har mod pe mil jaayenge hamsafar; Tumko mere dil ne pukaara hai; Yaari hai imaan mera yaar meri zindagi.

Of the 10 songs in that list I didn’t know only two:- “dil sambhaale sambhalta nahin” and “beete hue din kuch aise hi hain”. But of course all the 10 are present on our blog. And 141 out of the 380 odd songs that he has written, are present in the blog. His first outing in movies was in the 1959 movie “Satta Bazaar” (1959) with the classic ‘tumhe yaad hoga kabhi hum mile the’. His career spanned almost four decades and we have a range of songs to entertain ys from the patriotic Aaj hai do october ka din and ‘mere desh ki dharti’; melodiously romantic ‘chaand ko kya maloom’ and funnily romantic ‘peenewaalon ko peene ka bahana chahiye’. His ‘dukki pe dukki ho’ is as popular as ‘dilbar mere kab tak mujhe’. And I remember having seen him on screen lip syncing ‘deewane hai deewano ko na darr chahiye’ and also enjoying the party in ‘Parivaar’ when Nanda sang ‘aaj hai do october ka din’. He was there on screen in Manoj Kumar directed ‘Upkaar’ as the halwai’s son. His songs have been put to music by Kalyanji Anandji, R D Burman, Shankar Jaikishan. He was awarded the best lyricist Filmfare award for “mere desh ki dharti” and “yaari hai imaan mera yaar meri zindagi” which also topped that years Binaca Geetmala.

Thinking of this lyricist on his anniversary with a song from the 1984 release “Andar Baahar”. 1984 was when I had discovered the new crop of good looking actors Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol etc. They looked good and danced/ acted reasonably well too. So I could request my dad to see this movie. He was also a fan of movies which were of the ‘masala’ genre and had some good songs for added pleasure and relaxation. I could never convince him to see any of the Arty movies, but that is another story.

“Andar Baahar” was a movie produced by Romu Sippy and directed by Raj N. Sippy. It had a cast of Jackie Shroff- Anil Kapoor- Parikshit Sahni- Anita Raaj- Danny. This was Moon Moon Sen’s Hindi debut (one of the reasons my dad agreed to come for the movie, he wanted to see Suchitra Sen’s daughter).

The movie had a very simple storyline:- A cop-n-crook story. The crooks led by Danny crack the safe of a bank, and one of them turns greedy and tries to shoot the others out of his way. The sound gets cop Ajay Sahni (Parikshat Sahni) to the spot and one of the team of crooks runs away with the loot. Danny escapes from prison and threatens the absconding Gulshan Grover of killing his sister if he doesn’t return the loot. Gulshan squeals to the cops and inspector Ajay and his friend Ravi Khanna (Jackie) reach the spot. Only this time, in the operations, inspector Ajay is fatally wounded and now inspector Ravi seeks vengeance. With the permission of the commissioner he brings the wounded crook Raja (Anil Kapoor), who is still in his custody, to help him track Shera (Danny) Gulshan etc and bring the movie to a close. In the process Ravi Khanna finds a friend in Raja who takes Ajay’s place in his life.

Now since there are friends in the movie it is mandatory to have a song where the heroes proclaim their love for each other. This is sung by Shailendra Singh and Suresh Wadkar. R D Burman is the music composer. The song has a stamp of RD all over it:- great opening piece and in between the mukhda and antara. We can also hear the harmonica (popularly called mouth organ) through the song.

Incidentally it also happens to be Suresh Wadkar’s 65th birthday. He has been active since 1977 -Paheli and Gaman (1978). His voice was different from the reigning voices of that time. He also is trained in classical music which is evident in “saanjh dhale gagan tale” and his numerous songs which need a clear voice at high pitch. We have 71 songs of his on the blog. We have a lot more songs out there for us to learn the range that he can sing in. For today we shall hear him here in this song and wish him a very Happy Birthday.

N.B.: There is a sad version to this song, video of which I am unable to locate.

Out of the six movies represented as above we have only two movies eligible for the ‘Blog Ten-Year Challenge’ today viz. ‘Kan Kan Mein Bhagwan-1963’ and ‘Dulhan-1958’.

When our dear Prakash ji sent the lyrics for the today’s song it reminded me that I had watched this movie ‘Kan Kan Mein Bhagwan-1963’ during my growing years in mid-late seventies.

This movie was screened during the weekly movie-screening at the ‘recreation club’ building of the colony we were staying then. Movies like ‘Janam Janam Ke Phere-1957’, ‘Sant Gyaneshwar-1964’ etc were some of the movie I got to watch during those days.

Though I do not remember the story of this movie ‘Kan Kan Mein Bhagwan-1963’ now, remembering a few of its songs was no problem as they were embedded in my memory.Recalling these songs and reliving the nostalgia of actor Mahipal’s movies’ during the preparation of this post brought back memories of watching those black and white movies during my childhood days.

This movie had some nice melodious songs and its music was highly enjoyable.

‘Kan Kan Mein Bhagwan-1963’ had nine songs, all written by Bharat Vyas. The music was composed by Pandit Shivaram. Mahendra Kapoor, Manna Dey, Mukesh and Suman Kalyanpur had given their voices to the songs in this movie.

Mahendra Kapoor had sung six solo songs in this movie and only one of them have posted on the blog so far. That gives us five solo songs by Mahendra Kapoor to be posted on the blog. Today we are going to listen one of them.

Manna Dey had sung one solo and Mukesh had one duet with Suman Kalyanpur which has also been posted on the blog. Suman Kalyanpur had solo song other than the duet with Mukesh which has also been posted on the blog.

Following are the four songs from this movie that have been posted on the blog;

Song-Ye duniya banaana aur banaake phir chalaana (Kan Kan Mein Bhagwaan)(1963) Singer-Mahendra Kapoor, Lyrics-Bharat Vyas, MD-Pt Shivram

Lyrics(Provided by Prakashchandra)

ye duniya banaana
aur banaa ke phir chalaana
bas usi kaa kaam hai
badaa zordaar us ka intzaam hai
ho o badaa zabardast us ka intzaam hai
raat ko hi raat
parbhaat ko parbhaat
shaam hi ko shaam hai
badaa zordaar uska intzaam hai
ho o badaa zabardast uska intzaam hai
ye duniya banaana
aur banaa ke phir chalaana
bas usi ka kaam hai
badaa zordaar uska intzaam hai
ho o badaa zabardast uska intzaam hai

jal pe hai thhal aur thhal pe aasmaan hai
phir bhi ek dooje pe na bojh ke samaan hai
jal pe hai thhal aur thhal pe aasmaan hai
phir bhi ek dooje pe na bojh ke samaan hai
ghazab ka ye jahaan hai
bin khambe ka makaan hai ae
ghazab ka ye jahaan hai
bin khambe ka makaan hai
jahaan ka ek ek kan us ka ghulaam hai
badaa zordaar uska intzaam hai
ho o badaa zabardast uska intzaam hai
ye duniya banaana
aur banaa ke phir chalaana
bas usi kaa kaam hai
badaa zordaar us ka intzaam hai
ho o badaa zabardast us ka intzaam hai

surya chandra taare apne dharm se naa tal sake
insaan ki majaal kya
jo uskaa kram badal sake
surya chandra taare apne dharm se naa tal sake
insaan ki majaal kya
jo uska kram badal sake
ik phool bhi khiley nahin ik patta bhi hiley nahin
ik phool bhi khiley nahin ik patta bhi hiley nahin
saare jahaan ki uske haath mein lagaam hai
badaa zordaar uska intzaam hai
ho o badaa zabardast uska intzaam hai
ye duniya banaana
aur banaa ke phir chalaana
bas usi ka kaam hai
badaa zordaar us ka intzaam hai
ho o badaa zabardast us ka intzaam hai

Lyrics(Provided by Prakashchandra)

mann ka ye panchhi haayye kare kya

sone ke pinjre mein qaid ho gaya
zindagi ye phad phadaake haayye reh gayee
zaalim zamane ne kaat diye par
mann ka ye panchhi haayye kare kya
sone ke pinjre mein qaid ho gaya

4401 Post No. : 15784 Movie Count :

4348

It is 05th August, so its Kajol’s 46th birthday today. For this once I thought I will look for a outdoorsy song to post. Actually, this last week is turning out to be too much in a straight row, if this gets written and posted on time, 4 posts in a week for me.

I think, by now or by unlock – 5, wherever it’s on, people are quite fed up of being cooped up in the house. No going out just for the sake of it. Some of us are attending office on rotation and some are doing full time ‘work from home’. But we can’t be complaining, as there is a class of people who cannot work from home under any circumstances, among these a huge section is of those who need to work daily for livelihood and to survive. People working in health sector have had to be on the front-line as well as police personnel have had a tougher 4 -5 months. This crisis is not looking as if going away too soon. It’s the new normal for all intents and purposes. Now people have reconciled to this new normal also.

Initially people had disbelief, thought that this is not happening. Than it happened, people thought this is not going to last, it will go away soon. Now this is 7th month in to the crisis, which is a global tragedy of the proportion present generations have not seen. Only the war veterans might have some similar experience, but they have been centered in conflict areas or war zones. The plague of the last century also affected some places at a time. Now the globe has experienced a war like situation simultaneously. Some countries were able to cope better than others, which is the reality of this unequal world. There are humanitarian crisis’s happening and looming in different countries of the world. All are waiting with bated breath for the bubble to burst, hoping for the best and fearing the worst. Even the detailed messages and videos about the crisis and situation and the immunity, treatment, etc. also have dried up.

aaj yun mauj-dar-mauj ġham tham gayā is tarah ġham-zadoñ ko qarār aa gayā
jaise ḳhush-bū-e-zulf-e-bahār aa gayī jaise paiġhām-e-dīdār-e-yār aa gayā

Man is a social animal, we were taught in school. So the new normal for some years to come, is physical distancing. No interacting with strangers and those who do not matter to you personally. This could even be the nature’s own way of preserving the civilization, by correcting the behavioral norms. One can hope that this is so, and things will turn out for the better. For Allah (SWT) is the best of planners, and he knows what is best for us. This belief system is a necessary to cope with the changing circumstances and fear of the unknown. Psychological impact of this crisis is still unfathomable. The experts may still be experimenting with the different case scenarios.

Here is a Nazm by Muneer Niyazi, titled “Sa’ee”

Kisi sa’ee ka naqsh gehra nahi hai
Har ik saaya ek aankh hai
Jis mein ishrat-kadon na-rasaa khwahishon
An-kahi dil-nasheen daastaanon ka melaa lagaa hai
Magar aankh ka sehr palkon ki chilman ki halki si jumbish hai
Aur kuchh nahi hai
Kisi aankh ka sehr daa’yim nahi hai

Har ik saaya
chalti haw aka pur-asrar jhonka hai
Jo dur ki baat se
Dil ko bechain kar ke chala jaayegaa
Har koyi jaanta hai
Hawaaon ki baatien der tak rehne wali nahin hain
Kisi aankh ka sehr daa’yim nahi hai
Kisi sa’ee ka naqsh gehra nahi hai

The impact on the world economy is just not thinkable. Some micro plans will be on hold, but macro plans will go on as usual, this is my reading of the situation.

This time last year, I was at Hajj – 2019, by the grace of Almighty. This year it wouldn’t have been possible as only few locals were able to perform Hajj this year.

Micro plans on hold means; people like me will not be able to go on a holiday to enjoy the nature’s beauty, peace and quiet. I have had enough of peace and quiet to last for some time at least. The street outside my building is so quite during all hours, it is impossible to believe that it could be any more silent. But come nightfall, it is so silent that it is scary sometimes.

So let us to outdoors to the natural rivers running through mountains, lakeshore and the shikaara.

This song I am presenting on Kajol’s birthday is from the film “Dil Kya Kare” , which stars herself with her husband and Mahima chuadhary. Alka Yagnik sings this solo for Kajol, I think she is imagining. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist and composers are Jatil-Lalit. The composition, lyrics and singing are all very appealing. There are two stanza’s only, but a well written song. But there is something lacking in the recording. May be very few music instruments or the recording is separately for the vocal and music, mixed later.

Anyway, it is a nicely posturized song in the outdoor locations. So good to look at 🙂 .

Song-Pyaar ke liye chaar pal kam nahin thhe (Dil Kya Kare)(1999) Singer-Alka Yagnik, Lyrics-Anand Bakshi, MD-Jatin Lalit

Lyrics

Pyaar ke liye chaar pal kam nahin thhe
Pyaar ke liye chaar pal kam nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe
Pyaar ke haseen kab ye mausam nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe

Yeh din barson ke baad aaya aa
Kuchh tumhen kuchh hamen yaad aayaa
Kasak phir ye dil mein uthhi hai
Honthon pe baat aa ke ruki hai
Kabhi itne majboor to ham nahin thhe
Kabhi itne majboor to ham nahin thhe
Pyaar ke liye chaar pal kam nahin thhe
Pyaar ke haseen kab ye mausam nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe

Aaa aaa aaa
Aa aa aa
Aa aa aa aa
Aa aa aa
Agar tum ye dil maang lete
Jaan-e-man
ham tumhen jaan dete
Tumhen kaise ham bhool jaate
Mar ke bhi tum hamen yaad aate
Tumhen hai pata
bewafaa ham nahin thhe
Tumhen hai pata
bewafaa ham nahin thhe
Pyaar ke liye chaar pal kam nahin thhe
Pyaaar ke liye chaar pal kam nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe
Pyaar ke haseen kab ye mausam nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe kabhi ham nahin thhe
Kabhi tum nahin thhe, kabhi ham nahin thhe
