“Babu” (1985) was a remake of a Tamil movie of 1971 of the same name which was in turn remake of a Malayalam movie of 1965 (called Odayil Ninnu).
“Babu” (1985) was produced by V R Parmeshwaram and directed by A G Trilokchandar. The movie had Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Rati Agnihotri, Madan Puri, Rajendranath etc in it.

Early sixties, and a new kid on the block is trying to catch attention with the clarion call “Banda Parwar, Thhaam Lo Jigar” (‘Phir Wohi Dil Layaa Hoon’ (1963)). Catapulting directly into the top bracket of leading roles, no one can say that Joy Mukherjee had a dearth of roles or big name pictures. The young lad was very handsome, with an open smiling face, and had histrionic talent also. And as is evident from the roles in the first decade of his career, he had lots of energy and had a lots of zeal. Btw, the song I mentioned in this paragraph, well it is not on this blog yet. (Hint, hint. :))

Recently I posted a hand rickshaw song in this blog. That song was from “Dil Tera Deewaanaa”.
In the comments of that song, it was mentioned by Lalitha that there was another hand rickshaw song in the movie “Chhoti Behan” and she gave that song as her farmaish.

on:Out of all the modes of public transport, tri wheeler Cycle rickshaw (popularly called Rickshaw) has been one of the most popular mode of transport of most Indians for several decades. This kind of rickshaw is ubiquitous in Indian cities even today, except in some metropilital cities where it is not allowed. You can see cycle rickshaw in Old Delhi, but not in New Delhi, for example.
