Today (5 february 2015) is the first death anniversary of Juthika Roy (20 April 1920-5 february 2014).
As a tribute to the empress of bhajans, here is a sweet Kabir Bhajan sung by Juthika Roy. Details of this song regarding its year, music director etc are not known. Seeing that the word Kabir appears in the lyrics, it appears to be a Kabir bhajan.

THE JOY OF NFS (song No. 5)
———————————
Somewhere in the late 2011, AK ji of Songsofyore, had written on this Blog about the importance of NFS. After reading his views, I too wrote a rather lengthy comment supporting the inclusion of NFS on this Blog. on:Today (13 november 2012) is Deewaali, the festival of light. This is the fifth Deewaali festival for this blog, which is quite an achievement for us, seeing that this blog has not just survived for such a long time, but has in fact progressed and thrived. Now it has become an online collaboration of likeminded music lovers who are contributing their mite and that is helping build up a valuable online musical repository.
