“Usha Kiran”(1952) was directed by Jawed Hussain for Malwa Productions, Bombay. The movie had Nimmi, geeta Bali, Lalita Pawar, Altaf, Mazhar Khan, Cuckoo, S Nazir, Sooraj, Khwaza Sabir, Aman, Mirza Musharraf, Sherry, Mehdi Raza, Faizi, Professor Bhim, Abbas, Zubaida etc in it.
The movie had eleven songs in it that were composed by Hanuma Prasad (nine songs) and Manohar (two songs). Three lyricists had penned these sons.
One song has been covered in the past.
Here is the second song from “Usha Kiran”(1952) to appear in the blog. the song is sung by Amirbai Karnataki and G M Durrani. Anjum Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hanuman Prasad.
