Blog Day : | 3535 | Post No. : | 14200 |
Yesterday (22 march 2018), the blog was having a dot day till about 8 PM and then three articles were published just as the day was getting over, duly taking care of the “debutant” movie song as well as the YIPPEE movie for the day. Today (23 march 2018), we have had four songs discussed already, and that covers the “debutant” movie song as well as the YIPPEE movie.
But we are not done for the day. People have not noticed that we are onto another landmark. These days we mention the post number in the beginning of the post. The last article had its post number as 14199. So the next article has to be the net century post for the blog, viz post number 14200.
This century post occasion must be the most uneventful as well as the most underprepared century post. I was not sure about the song I was going to pick for the occasion till very late. I thought that I had chosen the song. But that song got changed in the afternoon. In the evening that song got changed again. This song, the 14200th song for the blog will appear at around 11 PM IST, after being finalised at about 8 PM ! In fact I discovered this song and heard it for the first time at 8 PM !
I had decided that this century post would cover a song penned by Kaifi Azmi. so the songs that I kept chosing and changing were all penned by Kaifi Azmi.
It was yesterday evening that I had decided on Kaifi Azmi as the artist to feature for the century song. So I began to research on the songs of Kaifi Azmi. I found, much to my surprise that the list of all songs penned by Kaifi Azmi is not available online, unlike the case for many other artists. Kaifi Azmi has an official site but I found that site a half hearted attempt and there I could not find what I was looking for.
So I spend my time from yesyterday evening till this evening compiling the list of all Kaifi Azmi songs that he has penned in HFM. I arrived at a figure of 351 songs from 88 movies. I was under the impression that Kaifi Azmi was on 199 in the blog and so I was hoping that this song would combine blog century will Kaifi Azmi’s 200th song in the blog. But I found that my earlier calcutaion was incorrect. Kaifi Azmi is on 189 and not quite 199. Nevertheless, now I have a fairly good idea about Kaifi Azmi’s output in Hindi movies.
I find that the music directors with whom Kaifi Azmi worked could be broadly categorised in two categories- First category was those who were lovers of urdu. Second category were those who did not have command over Hindi/ Urdu but they realised the value of a good lyricist.
In the first category, we have music directors like Madan Mohan, Ghulam Mohammad, Khayyam, Jaidev, A R Qureshy, Pt Lachchiram, O P Nayyar, Roshan etc etc. Kaifi Azmi worked with Madan Mohan in 14 movies, which is the highest number of movies for him with one music director. On the other end of the spectrum, he worked with Roshan and O P Nayyar in just one song each. The first song in the blog was sole Roshan composition that Kaifi Azmi penned. So this blog was starged with a rare song though it was not realised at that time. 🙂
The only O P Nayyar composition that was penned by Kaifi Azmi was the lilting title song of “Bahaaren Phir Bhi Aayengi” (1966).
The other category of music directors with whom Kaifi Azmi was associated in HFM were those who had poor command over Hindi/ Urdu. They were mostly Bangla speakers. But what compositions they created with Kaifi Azmi. This category of music directors include names like S D Burman, Hemant Kumar, Kamal Mitra, Bappi Lahiri, Aparesh Lahiri, Robin, Kanu Roy, Dilip Roy etc.
For this occasion, I have chosen a song that must be regarded as a rare song on many counts. This song is a rare song per se, in the sense that I had not heard this song till now, even though this song was composed in 1970, when I as a precocious music loving kid would listen to all HFM that would get played on Radio, loudspeakers etc.
This song can also be desribed as rare because it is a club song as well as a Helen dance song. One does not associate Kaifi Azmi with a Helen dance song, but this song is very much a Helen dance song.
Though the song has dance by Helen, she does not do any lip syncing. The song is a male solo song. It is sung by Mahendra Kapoor, regarded uncharitably as poor man’s Rafi by some. The song is lip synced as a party song in Shammi Kapoor style. No, it is lip synced neither by Shammi Kapoor nor by Vishwajeet, whom many people rather uncharitably regarded as poor man’s Shammi Kapoor. the song is lip synced by Chandrashekhar who could well be described as a poor man’s Vishwajeet. That would make him poor man’s poor man’s Shammi Kapoor. 🙂 The song does have such self effacing lines as
dekh ke mujhko munh pher lete hain sab
mera chehra gareebi ka hai ishtihaar
The picturisation also shows some well known villains in attendance. K N Singh and Jeewan are present on the occasion. Jeewan seems to have understood every word of this heavy duty lyrics, going by his facial expression. 🙂
I got to listen to the song a few times in the process of noting down of the lyrics. I found the song growingon me. It is that kind of song.
So here is this unsung song as the rather unnoticed 14200th song in the blog. This century took a sedate 26 days. Hopefully we will pick up speed in the coming days and weeks.
I take this opportunity to thank one and all for their continued support, good wishes and encouragement that keep fuelling this musical bandwagon. Let us hope that this bandwagon keep on rolling, like the mythical perpetual motion machine.
Song-Chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein (Daghabaaz)(1970) Singer-Mahendra Kapoor, Lyrics-Kaifi Azmi, MD-Dilip Roy
Lyrics
chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein
chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein
jaane kya raaz hai kyun ujaala nahin
chhed di maine dil ki ye baaten kahaan
dil ki baaten koi sun’newaala nahin
chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein
dekh ke mujhko munh pher lete hain sab
mera chehra gareebi ka hai ishtihaar
dekh ke mujhko munh pher lete hain sab
mera chehra gareebi ka hai ishtihaar
apne sar pe chita apni rakkhe huye
apne sar pe chita apni rakkhe huye
thokaren khaayin duniya ke aage hazaar
thokaren khaayin duniya ke aage hazaar
aur kisi ne bhi badhke sambhaala nahin
dil ki baaten koi sun’newaala nahin
chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein
sar agar phodna hai to sar phod lo
saaya dhoondho na chaandi ki deewaar mein
sar agar phodna hai to sar phod lo
saaya dhoondho na chaandi ki deewaar mein
pyaar ka geet honthon tak aaya to thha
pyaar ka geet honthon tak aaya to thha
kho gaya aa ke sone ki jhankaar mein
kho gaya aa ke sone ki jhankaar mein
dard patthar ne seene mein paala nahin
dil ki baaten koi sun’newaala nahin
chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein
raat dhalti rahi
jashn hota raha
raat dhalti rahi
jashn hota raha
log hanste rahe
koi rota raha
shukriya kis jubaan se ada keejiye
shukriya kis jubaan se ada keejiye
dil mein kaanta zamaana chubhota raha
dil mein kaanta zamaana chubhota raha
mujhko mahfil se lekin nikaala nahin
dil ki baaten koi sun’newaala nahin
chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein
jaane kya raaz hai kyun ujaala nahin
chhed di maine dil ki ye baaten kahaan
dil ki baaten koi sun’newaala nahin
chaand bhi hai sitaare bhi hain bazm mein

“Swarg Narak”(1978) was Produced by B Nagi Reddi and directed by Dasari Narayan Rao for Vijaya Productions Pvt Ltd.(Madras). The movie had Sanjeev Kumar, Jeetendra,Vinod Mehra, Moushumi Chatterjee, Shabana Azmi,Shobhini Singh, Kamini Kaushal,Farita Boyce,Helen,Vijayalakshmi,Baby Gowri,Baby Sumathi,Paintal,Aditya,Vimal Sahu, Swaraj Kumar, Prem Kumar, Saleem,Subba Rao,Madhukar,Kiran, Pandey,Ram Mohan, Muthalif. In addtions, Madan Puri,A.K.Hangal,Prema Narayan made special appearances, while ITanuja made a friendly appearance. Other friendly appearances were by Jagdeep, Om Shivpuri, Raj Mehra, Shammi, Vikram Gokhale, Komilla Virk, Birbal, Pandhari Bai, Adil Aman etc.
The movie was a typically Chandamama magazine kind of tale, because it was a made by the owners of Chandamama. The movie had four songs in it. Three of these songs have been covered in the past.
Despite being aware that only one song was left to be covered, I was unable to cover the final song from the movie. For one, this is a rather complicated song. HFGK mentions it as a song in two parts, viz part a sung by Lata and part b sung by Christine. In reality it is one continous song where one stanza is a sung by Lata in Sanskrit and that is followed by one stanza in English by Christine and so on. The full audio of the song is rather elusive.
The sanskrit portion is basically shloks from Geeta. HFGK mentions them as shloks number 20 and 22 from chapter II and shlok number 34 from chapter 9. The English portion are penned by Harindranath Chattopadhyay. The picturisation shows a devout wife (played by Shabana Azmi reciting Geeta Shloks) in a bid to save the life of her mother in law whereas the wayward husband (played by Vinod Mehra) is drinking in a bar in the company of disagreeable people such as Komila Virk. There isone bar dancer (I am unable to identify her) who lip syncs the English song.
Movie audience were supposed to sympathise and praise the devout lady and abuse the wayward man. I had watched this movie (duly bunking my college classes) and had joined the mainstream audience in reacting in the predictable way.
Here is this elusive song, with tough lyrics since they are in Sanskrit and English. 🙂 All the hard work of noting down the lyrics are done by Prakashchandra who has also provided all the details about the movie.
With this song, “Swarg Narak”(1978) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.

Missing Films of 1960s – 45
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
As I scanned the filmography of Nayyar Sb, presented by Atul ji in his late evening post yesterday, my eyes stopped with a jerk on seeing a ‘0’ in the decade of 1960s. Quick shift to the left and I find that the film is ‘The Killers’ from 1969. And the mind said ‘wow’ again – this film, and that too with Nayyar Sb’s music – how can that be an outsider still. Time to set the record right. So the immediate decision was to debut this film – immediately. 🙂
‘The Killers’ – is a kind of a multi starrer before its time. It brought together Sheikh Mukhtar, Dara Singh and Ajit – all stars in their own right of the genre of stunt / suspense / thriller films. Other players in the star cast are Helen (of course), Bela Bose, Leela Chitnis, Bhagwan, Jagdish Raj, Anwar Husain, Amar, Maruti, Savita, Sushma, Ram Lal, and Kundan etc. And yes, the alternate title of this film, now do not be surprised – ‘Hum Sab Qaatil Hain’, a la ‘Hum Sab Ustad Hain’ and ‘Hum Sab Chor Hain’. 😀 😀
The film is produced under the banner of Sangam Films, Bombay, and is directed by Maruti. The six songs in this film are shared between Aziz Kashmiri (2) and SH Bihari(4). This song is written by SH Bihari. Music – yes OP Nayyar Sb.
A wonderfully composed song, that immediately brings to memory, the similarly paced song – “Hum Ne To Dil Ko Aap Ke Kadmon Mein Rakh Diya”, sung by Rafi Sb and Asha Bhosle for Nayyar Sb in the film ‘Mere Sanam’ (1965). The use of sitar is simply so exquisite.
On screen, the song has been performed so sensuously by Helen, as she showers her graces on to her beau, role played by Dara Singh. In the initial moments of the song, the gentleman seems spooked, watching the lady wearing a towel, and then getting ready. He has this bowled over astounded expression on his face – almost as if, if he was required to say something, then God help the director.
But all in all, a wonderful composition, and performed equally wonderfully on screen by Helen. This is not a dance song, but she has conducted herself extremely tastefully.
With this, the film ‘The Killers’ makes its debut on our blog. And enjoy this lovely song. And the Helen performance. 🙂
Song – Nazren Mila Ke Aap Ne Ehsaan Kar Diya (The Killers) (1969) Singer – Asha Bhosle, Lyrics – SH Bihari, MD – OP Nayyar
Lyrics
hmmm hmmm hmmm
la la la la laaa lalla
hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmm
nazren mila ke aapne ehsaan kar diya
nazren mila ke aapne ehsaan kar diya
phir se hamaare jeene ka samaan kar diya
mil ke hamen huzoor se
mehsoos ye hua
mil ke hamen huzoor se
mehsoos ye hua
duniya mein aur kuchh bhi nahin
pyaar ke siwa
sab kuchh wafaa ke naam pe
qurbaan kar diya
nazren mila ke aapne ehsaan kar diya
bechain thi hamaari nazar
aap ke bagair
bechain thi hamaari nazar
aap ke bagair
mushqil tha zindagi ka safar
aap ke bagair
baahon mein le ke aap ne
aasaan kar diya
nazren mila ke aapne ehsaan kar diya
phir se hamaare jeene ka samaan kar diya

Today (16 january 2018) is the 92nd birth anniversary of O P Nayyar (16 january 1926- 28 january 2007).
Instead of discussing his biography and discussing his well known songs, I have decided to pay my tribute to the legendary music director by presenting his full filmography for Hindi movies here.
In summary, O P Nayyar composed music for 73 Hindi movies from 1952 to 1995. He composed 569 songs in these movies. The blog has 462 songs from these movies. 69 out of 73 movies are represented in the blog. Out of these movies represented in the blog, 47 movies are already YIPPEED. Not all of the remaining songs are available. Some of these balance songs may have been lost for ever. For instance, the one remaining song from “Shrimati 420” (1956) viz-“tum to hamre man mein bhagwan ban ke base ho” was only there on the movie and its record was not issued. The movie prints are not available, so this remaining song will remain unavailable and as such this movie will remain un YIPPEED.
Yesterday, we discussed a song from “China Town”(1962). It turns out that there was a movie called “Hongkong” (1962) as well in the same year. “Hongkong” (1962) had music by O P Nayyar. This movie was directed by Paachhi for Paachi Productions, Bombay. This movie had Ashok Kumar, B Saroja Devi, K N Singh, Helen, Bhalla, Babu Rao, Kitty, King, Doctor, Balram, Kundan, Om Prakash etc in it.
This movie had nine songs in it. Seven songs from the movie have been discussed in the blog in the past.
This eighth song from “Hongkong” (1962) begins as a “teasing” song, where Om Prakash tries to play a roadside Romeo, but Helen, the target of Om Prakash’s attentions decides that attack is the best form of defence and boos him heartily. 🙂
The lyrics are quite amusing. The movie had four lyricists (Raja Mehdi ali Khan, Qamar Jalalabadi, Shewan Rizvi and S H Bihari), but sadly the lyricist of this song is not known. The lyricist has let his hair down in this song. He must have enjoyed penning this light hearted song. 🙂 The song is quite long. It has video as well as as audio versions and the lyrics differ in some stanzas. I have provided lyrics and links of both the versions.
Music is of course O P Nayyar, and it would appear that he too must have enjoyed composing this song. the song is sung by his favourite playback singing pair of Rafi and Asha Bhonsle.

tumhari adao pe ae husnwaalon
haan aan aan aan aan
haaye
tumhaari adaaon pe ae husnwaalon
agar ham na marte
to phir kaun marta
tumhaari adaaon pe ae husnwaalon
agar ham na marte to phir kaun marta
nahin tumsa koi
agar ham na kehte
to ye naaz o andaaz rakkhe hi rehte
na itraao itna tum is baankpan par
nazar lag na jaaye
chalo yoon na tan kar
sharaarat se mud mud ke kya dekhte ho
hamen ya ke apni ada dekhte ho
ham hi jab na honge to phir kya karoge
har ik baat per kis se akda karoge
kise dekh kar sharm aaya karegi
haya kis se munh ko chhupaaya karegi
ye chutki se dil kiska masla karoge
hamen yaad kar kar ke machla karoge
mohabbat ki baaton pe itna na bigdo
zara haath seene pe rakhkar ye keh do
aa aa aa aa aa aa
haaye
tumhaari adaaon pe ae husn waalon
agar ham na marte to phir kaun marta
tumhaari adaaon pe ae husn waalon
agar ham na marte to phir kaun marta
ye tum husnwaalon se kya baat karta
haaye ae ae ae ae
ye tum husnwaalon se kya baat karta aa
arre ham na hota to tum kispe marta
ye tum husnwaalon se kya baat karta
arre ham na hota to tum kispe marta
ke soorat se dilbar ho aur dil se patthar
khari baat keh di to bigde huye ho
angoothhe ko daanton se pakde huye ho
zara paas aao
mulaaqaat kar len
agar hans ke dekho to ik baat kar len
aa aa aa aa aa
haaye
tumhaari adaaon pe ae husn waalon
agar ham na marte to phir kaun marta
tumhaari adaaon pe ae husn waalon
agar ham na marte to phir kaun marta
ye tum husnwaalon se kya baat karta
are ham na hota to tum kispe marta
ye tum husnwaalon se kya baat karta
are ham na hota to tum kispe marta
koi romeo koi farhaad dekha
jise dekha majnu ka ustaad dekha
liye phirte ho ishq ki chot dil mein
nazar mein safai to hai khot dil mein
tumhen har qadam pe ye hota hai dhokha
jo dekhega tumko
wahi mar mitega
zara dekh le
ham to kuchh aur samjhe
chalo peechhe peechhe
nateeja na socho
bina jaan pehchaan ke baat karna
bahaane banaa kar mukaaqaat karna
bahut khoobsoorat samajhte ho khud ko
zara aaina le ke soorat to dekho
muhabbat haseenon se karne chale hain
koi inko dekho ye marne chale hain
aa aa aa aa
ye tum husn waalon se kya baat karta
arre ham na hota to tum kis pe marta
ye tum husn waalon se kya baat karta
arre ham na hota to tum kis pe marta
tumhaari adaaon pe ae husn waalon
agar ham na marte

hamen dekhte ho nigaahen bachaa kar
sharaafat dikhaate ho nazren jhukaa kar

hawaaon mein julfon ko lehraate niklo
chalaate huye teer bal khaate niklo
idhar dekhte ho udhar dekhte ho
giraate ho bijli jidhar dekhte ho
ye lip stick se honthon ko shola banaa kar
kahaan chal diye aag dil mein laga kar
anokha design hai ye sandlon ka
yahi shape hai bas hamaare dilon ka
haseen naazneen ho magar ho sitamgar
ke soorat se dilbar ho aur dil ke patthar
khari baat keh di to bigde huye ho

Now, none of the regulars can say they have not heard this song. In a film that boasts of more than one song that competes for the title of the best song in the film, this song surely is one of the best songs in this film. Wow – that sure is saying something for the quality of songs of this film. In 1962, music director Ravi has been active as an independent music director for about seven years now, and he already has about 30 films behind him, that he has composed for. His films include such notable hits as ‘Ek Saal’ (1957), ‘Dilli Ka Thug’ (1958), ‘Ghar Sansaar’ (1958), ‘Chaudhvin Ka Chaand’ (1960), ‘Ghunghat’ (1960), ‘Gharaana’ (1961), ‘Modern Girl’ (1961), ‘Bombay Ka Chor’ (1962) and many more. And then in 1962, out comes this Shammi Kapoor, Shakila, Helen starrer called ‘China Town’ – and the popular response is “Baar Baar Dekho, Hazaar Baar Dekho”. Oh yes, the songs of this film – one just does not feel done with them, no matter how many times you have heard them.
Produced and directed by Shakti Samant, the cast of actors includes such notables – Shammi Kapoor, Shakila, Helen, Madan Puri, SN Bannerjee, Keshav Rana, TunTun, Rashid Khan, Polson, Samson, Shetty, Jeevankala, Mridula and about twenty more names. Songwriter of all the eight songs in this film is Majrooh Sultanpuri, and the music, already mentioned, is by Ravi.
Eight songs in all, seven of which have already been showcased on our blog. And we come to the yippeee night for this film, brining on board this last, but not the least, songs of this film. It is a lovely composition, and just by listening to it, even without the visual, the image that comes to mind is – Helen. Ravi has tried to recreate the magic of “Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu” – albeit a slower pace, and has done a great composition.
But wait. What is this that I discover? The song that we have always heard in the film, and also as generally available in most uploads – goodness that song is missing from the listings in Geet Kosh. This question took up most of my time today afternoon and evening. I must admit that either I have been forgetful, or plain ignorant. Other folks may already know this, but this song has two versions, which, as I discovered after some leg work on the internet and searching my own collection, are quite different from each other, in terms of wordings. The tune and the melody is exactly the same but the words are noticeably different.
The Geet Kosh listing shows the title of this song as “Laakhon Haseenon Se Hai Gulzar China Town”. But as we play the video clip of this film, this song appears as the film beginning song, with the title line changed to “Rangeen Bahaaron Se Hai Gulzar China Town”. This latter version is the one that is the most available in all the searches one makes online. It is almost as if the former version does not exist. I checked in my collection, and am relieved to find that I have both versions in the folder of this film. And then, with some more intense search online, I am finally also able to locate a Sa Re Ga Ma upload, which is the “Laakhon Haseenon” waala version. The upload comment specifically states that this recording is from the vinyl record prepared from the sound track. There is some error here possibly, because the sound track version is “Rangeen Bahaaron Se”. I checked some more and then I am able to locate an Eraksoldies upload of an SLBC (Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corp) program that presents all songs of this film. Knowing this is an SLBC recording, these songs are quite surely from 78 rpm records. And this selection contains the “Laakhon Haseenon” waala version. I checked again in my collection, and sure enough, this version in my collection also is from a 78 rpm recording. So anyways. . .
What may have been the reason to make two versions, is not clear at this time. We know that it was an era that all songs were recorded twice, once for the 78 rpm record, and once for the final sound track. We see many instances that the two versions are different, in that there is either a different antaraa, or an additional antaraa in the sound track version. More noticeably, the difference in the two versions generally is the music – different lengths of preludes and interludes, maybe an extra couplet in the beginning, subtle variations in the music arrangement and the instruments used. However, it is only rarely that we see that there is a considerable variation in the wordings of different lines themselves. It is generally accepted that the 78 rpm version is released first. Also generally that both versions are recorded simultaneously. But yes, there are known cases where these two recordings may have been done at different points in time, as per circumstantial requirements. Recall the song of ‘Chhalia’ (1960) in which the song “Chhalia Mera Naam. . .” was re-recorded for sound track after the censors raised objections to some words in the original recording.
By that logic, it would seem that the “Laakhon Haseenon” waala version is recorded earlier and the “Rangeen Bahaaron Se” version which appears in the sound track was probably done later. The former, 78 rpm version carries two antaraas, and the latter soundtrack version carries three antaraas. And there is a sizeable modifications of words themselves. Now what prompted these wording changes – that needs to be explored. I would request our knowledgeable readers and friends to please add information related to this query.
The earlier songs posted for this film are listed below.
Baar Baar Dekho Hazaar Baar Dekho | 617 | 25-Jan-09 |
Dekho Ji Ek Baalaa Jogi | 3486 | 2-Feb-11 |

Bada Qaatil Hai Mera Yaar China Chin Chin Chu | 13917 | 14-Jan-18 |
Of the above listed songs, the “Yamma Yamma Yamma. . .” song actually includes two songs, which are listed at nos. 5 and 6 in the Geet Kosh. And the song “Bada Qaatil Hai Mera Yaar. . .” is the song listed at no. 8 in the Geet Kosh.
So we bring to Yippeee land, this most musical film, that started its journey on our blog close to – goodness, nine years. Wow. Maybe one day we shall do an analysis on the patterns in the time taken to bring all songs of a film on board. Maybe it brings out some interesting results.
Enjoy both these “Rangeen Bahaaren” and “Laakhon Haseeen” versions of the song. And welcome ‘China Town’ to Yippeee land. 🙂
[Ed Note: Ah yes, and the titling on the video clip (it is uploaded in the Rajshri channel) is also incorrect. They have captioned the upload as “Thandi Bahaaron Se. . .” whereas it is very clearly heard as ‘Rangeen Bahaaron Se. . .”.]

“Naseehat”(1967) was directed by Om Patwar for Deedaar movies, Bombay. The movie had Dara Singh, Rajshree (south), Randhawa, Savita, Madan Puri, Tiwari, Sapru, Rajan Haksar, Bhagwan Sinha, Leela Mishra, Kundan, Rajan Kapoor, Samson, Uma Dutt, Keshav, Ridku, Meena, Saudagar Sngh, Helen, Madhumati etc in it.
Two songs from the movie have been covered in the past. Here is the third song from “Naseehat”(1967) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. S H Bihari is the lyricist. Music is composed by O P Nayyar.
The song is picturised as a club dance song on Helen, with villainous looking characters hovering around, as they always do on a club dance situation like this. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them.
Song-Mujhko deewaana na kar (Naseehat)(1967) Singer-Asha Bhonsle, Lyrics-S H Bihari, MD-O P Nayyar
Lyrics
boy o boy
boy o boy
mujhko deewaana na kar
aa mere kareeb aa
aaja ke dil tere liye ae
bekaraar hai mera
mujhko deewaana na kar
aa mere kareeb aa
aaja ke dil tera liye ae
bekaraar hai mera
mujhko deewaana na kar
chaahat mein phoolon ki pyaare
kaanton se dar jaana kya
o jaane jaan
duniya waalon se ghabraa kar
jeete jee mar jaana kya o jaane jaan
chaahat mein phoolon ki pyaare
kaanton se dar jaana kya
o jaane jaan
duniya waalon se ghabraakar
jeete jee mar jaana kya o jaane jaan
aaja ke pukaarti hai pyaar ki nazar
kaun si kami hai zara dekh to idhar
jalwe hazaaron hain yahaan
boy o boy
mujhko deewaana na kar
aa mere kareeb aa
aaja ke dil tere liye ae
bekaraar hai mera
mujhko deewaana na kar
tu kya soche
kya hoga anjaam yahaan afsaane ka
o jaane jaan
jo bhi hoga achcha hoga
haal tere deewaane ka
o jaane jaan
tu kya soche
kya hoga anjaam yahaan afsaane ka
o jaane jaan
jo bhi hoga achcha hoga
haal tere deewaane ka
o jaane jaan
dil kisi teer ka nishaana to bane
duniya mein jeene ka bahaana to bane
jeena hi mushkil hai yahaan
boy o boy
mujhko deewaana na kar
aa mere kareeb aa
aaja ke dil tere liye ae
bekaraar hai mera
mujhko deewaana na kar
