I have posted as many as ten songs from “Andaaz” already. Unbelievably, not one of these ten songs was a duet song between hero and heroine in this movie. Most songs were solo songs, except one, which was sung by two female singers ( Lata and Shamshad Begum).
There was in fact one duet song in this movie. And it was not picturised on Dilip Kumar and Nargis. Rather it was picturised on Raj Kapoor and Nargis. Lata sang for Nargis whereas Rafi sang for Raj Kapoor. Yes, Rafi too sang in this movie.
This song is a lesser known song from this movie. I listened to this for song the first time only just now. Majrooh Sultanpuri wrote this song and Naushad was the music director.
