In the past, I have posted two superb songs from “Parakh” (1960), namely Kya hawa chali baba rut badli and Mila hai kisi ka jhumka
Here is another song from this movie. It is a sad, poignant song sung by Lata. The song is written by Shailendra and music is composed by Salil Chaudhary.The song is picturised on Sadhana, whom I can barely recognise in this picturisation sans her trademark hairstyle.
I thank Maya, whose farmaish made me aware of this song.

the song tugs at the tender heart -strings of one’s heart as it conveys sense of sheer helplessness of the protagonist in love.
