This song of 1946 film ‘Dil’ is about the happiness of leaving behind the childhood and entering the pleasant years of youth. When you listen to the song, you can feel Noorjehan’s happiness in her expressive sweet voice.
Atul-ji pointed out my mistake of stating Raziuddin and ‘Arsh’ Hyderi as one lyricist. I stand corrected now, and have mentioned the lyricist as ‘Arsh’ Hyderi for this song.
I had stated earlier about one song from the film (Bhanwaraa shor na karnaa….) for which I had the lyrics but not the song. In response to an appeal to my knowledgeable friends, most of them were unable to help. Here again, Atul-ji, not only found this duet but also posted it on YouTube to be used later on by me.
