“Baazooband”(1954) was directed by Ashalata Biswas and directed by Ramanand Sagar for Variety Productions, Bombay. The movie had Sulochana Chatterji, Balraj Sahni, Roopmala, Anwar, Ramesh Kapoor, baby saroj, Om Prakash, Noorie, Linford, Shanta Kunwar, Noorjahana, Brahm, Indira, Sindura etc with Radhakishan as guest artist.
There were seven songs in the movie. One song from the movie has been discussed in the past.
Here is the second song from “Baazooband”(1954) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Md Shafi.
The song is picturised as a mujra song on Roopmala, with lots of her clients, including Balraj Sahni, making their presence felt in the picturisation.
