“Gauri Shankar”(1958) was produced by Nagesh and directed by Raja Nene for Bhagyawaan Chitra, Bombay. the movie had Trilok Kapoor, Sulochana, Jeewan, Maruti, Smita, Babu Raje, Vasantrao Pahalwan, Vishwas kunte, Kamal Kapoor, Suryakant, Mummy, Kamal, Bimla Kumari, Hira Sawant, Leela Gandhi, Baby Nazar, Narendra Hazare etc in it.
This mythological movie had seven obscure songs in it that were penned by three lyricists and sung by six singers.
Here is the first song from “Gauri Shankar”(1958) to appear in the blog. this song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. S P Kalla is the lyricist. Music is composed by Pt Shivram.
