“Teerandaaz”(1955) was directed by H S Rawail. The movie had Ajit, Madhubala, Jairaj, Kuldip Kaur, Yashodhara Katju, Chanchal, Chandrashekhar, Helen, Gope etc in it.

The story of film Teerandaz-55 was about a masked Teerandaz who supports the oppressed janta against a Tyrant Senapati. The Teerandas is a girl- Madhubala.
The movie had six songs in it. All songs were female solo sungs sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Four songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fifth song from “Teerandaaz”(1955) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by C Ramchandra.
Only audio of the song is available. It is clear that all the six songs were picturised on Madhubala. So Madhubala, in addition to playing a masked “teerandaaz” also found time to fall in love and sing songs dealing with the subject of “ishq”. 🙂 That is how Indian movies are. No matter what is the core activity of the lead actors in Hindi movies, they would still fall in love, feel betrayed in love and sing lots of songs to express their feelings. 🙂
