Today’s song is from the movie ‘Shree Ganesh Vivaah-1955’. From the title of this movie readers can easily guess that the song in this presentation would be a ‘Lord Ganesha related song’. Yes! In this post I am presenting a ‘beautiful Ganesh vandan bhajan’ from this movie ‘Shree Ganesh Vivaah-1955’.
This year the ten-day Ganesh Festival has already started on 7th of September’2024 all over the country. This year it would be a eleven day festival since the visarjan is on 17th of this month which is anant chaturdashi.
This Ganesh Festival is the seventeenth Ganesh Festival for this blog which started in the year ‘2008’.
Today’s movie ‘Shree Ganesh Vivaah-1955’ was directed by Jaswant Zaveri for ‘Chitra Veena, Bombay’. It was by Kantilal Desai & Chimanlal Shah. As the title of this movie suggests it was a ‘mythological movie’. The cast of this movie included Nirupa Roy, Jeevan, Sapru, B.M. Vyas, Prem Adeeb, Durga Khote, Kanchanmala, Mangala, Shalini, Narbada Shankar, Sarita, R.S. Dube, Master Ramesh Kapoor, Anup Sharma, Ramesh Desai, Dayanand Kamat, Arvind, Sagar, C.N. Kapoor, Kamlakant, Bhatia, Parveen Pal, Kesarbai, Chandabai, Sukumar Nagotkar, Devchand, Nazeer Kashmiri, P.D. Lal, Lily Kelkar and other.
‘Shree Ganesh Vivaah-1955’ has nine songs. They were written by Gopal Singh Nepali (four songs) and Bharat Vyas (five songs). Music for this movie was composed by Chitragupt. The singers for this movie are Asha Bhonsle, Suman Kalyanpur, Geeta Dutt, Mohd Rafi, and Manna Dey.
Today’s song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and lyrics are by Bharat Vyas. Music is composed by Chitragupt. It a is very beautiful composition with simple lyrics by Bharat Vyas praising lord Ganesha. The composition of Chitragupt is sung beautifully by Asha Bhonsle.
