“Naya Sansaar”(1959) was produced by Darshan Malhotra and directed by Nanabhai Bhatt for Shri Krishna Films, Bombay. This “social” movie had Jayashree Gadkar, Pradeep Kumar, Nanda, Dhumal, Tuntun, Sundar, Shammi, Majnu, Sheila Vaz, Sai Subbulakshmi,Kamla Laxman etc in it.
“Naya Sansaar”(1959) had six songs in it. Four songs have been covered in the blog.
Here is the fifth song from “Naya Sansaar”(1959) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata and Usha Mngeshkar. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
Only audio of the song is available. From the lyrics, it appears to be a national unity song sung by school kids. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
