“Fashion”(1943) was produced by Fazli brothers and directed by S F Hasnain. This muslim social movie had Sardar Akhtar, Chandramohan, Sabita Devi, Bhudo Advani, Prahlad, Kamta Prasad, Nazeer Kashmiri, Nand Kishore, N Nazir, R C Goyal, H P Sharma etc in it.
“Fashion”(1943) had ten songs in it that have become extremely obscure by now. Two songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the third song from “Fashion”(1943) to appear in the blog. HFGK mentions Mumtaz (a singer, not an actor) as the singer. On listening to the song, it appears that there is another female voice in the song. Aarzoo Lucknowi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shanti Kumar Desai.

I have not been able to get a few words right in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the missing words and /or suggest corrections in the lyrics wherever applicable. I also request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this singer Mumtaz.
