23 sep 2010: I may not be able to post on this day, though I will try to post at least a token one or two songs.
26 oct 2010: I will be unable to post any songs today. I will be back on action from the next day.
22 Nov 2010: I will be unable to come anwhere near internet on this day. I will be back from the next day onwards.

Dec 1,2010I will not be able to post on dec 1, 2010. From dec 2 onwards, I will be back to my usual routine.
Jan 15,2011 I have not been able to post songs at my desired rate for the last few weeks, but be rest assured that I will be back with a vengeance, perhaps in a couple of days time.
March 12,2011I may not be able to find time to post songs today.Reason- there is a cricket world cup match involving India today in my town as all cricket lovers are aware. 🙂
Nov 1, 2011I have been out of action for a couple of days. I hope to be back in action, starting from 3rd of november.
Feb 12,2011I will be travelling by train for much of the day, so my postings will be subject to availability of internet connectivity. But seeing that I will be travelling to the western parts of the country, I hope to get good internet connectivity duing my journey and also at the destination, where I will spend the next one week.

Atul,
Video links of some songs of BARSAAT (1949) have been either removed or are no longer available for which I have already indicated on the respective songs’ discussion page.
Now I find that video links for some songs of PYASAA (1957) and MERA SAYAA (1966) are also not available.

I have been reading, listening and enjoying your website since last
two months,it is quite extraordinary as far as Hindi Film songs are concerned,in addtion to that the way materials and information are provided are so good and very likeable. The design of website in which all
details are given very much worthy of praise.
I have listen many old movie songs which are sometimes not known to me,during my search I tried to find the songs of film ‘Khidki’ directed
by P L Santoshi,Music by C.Ramchandra.Cast Jawahar Kaul,Rehana, probably produced in 1948 or 1949,it is not in your collection,
Are you planning to add this film songs?
One famous song ‘Jai Bolo Mahatma Gahndhi Ki’ was very popular.
Thanks again.

This is a terrific website. Great resources, visible passion shown by Atul and the contributors. Wish the lyrics had a devnagari script too, that would be really super cool.
My difficulties for this website probably stem from my inexperience with this site but none of the songs I search gave results. The songs are the usual popular ones, so I cannot imagine that they are not featured here. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the film and ditto with music director.
The songs are:
Diwana Mastana hua dil (sung by Asha and Rafi)
Sawan aaye ya na aaye (ditto)

List of songs moviewise: display show one movie song twice with different music director names and different spelling of movie name:
First it was
Bhaawna(1984)(1)-Bappi Lahiri
Then again
withe different spelling in movie name and with wrong music directors:
Bhawna(1984)(1)-Jajit-ChitraSingh
Actually the music director is Bappi Lahiri and the song was sung by Jagjit & Chitra Singh
And as per movie credit sequences movie name spelling is “BHAVNA”

Again correction pending from many days:
3 Songs of Movie Arth(1982) has to be credited with the name of Music duo Jagjit Singh & chitra singh (and NOT as a creation of Kuldeep singh)
Again while we run the option list of movies alphabetically, the name in front of 3 songs of Arth is displayed as Kuldeep singh, Which has to be corrected as Jagjit singh & chira Singh
Proof:Vinyl record cover of the movie:
http://www.ngh.co.in/products/3567-arth-s-45nlp-1191-lp-vinyl.aspx
According to me Kuldeep Singh gave music for Saath Saath(1982), Ankush(1986)

In the list of songs moviewise the name of the MD is given in the caption and again against each song. Would it not be better to give name/names of singer/singers instead?
Same way in the lists of songs yearwise and music directorwise

Anyway glad to know you are well. I too was wondering.
