I have mentioned it earlier that “Badi Bahan” was full of evergreen memorable songs. I have already posted 2-3 of them, and there are many more to come.
This song “wo paas rahen ya door rahen” is a song that touches the heart strings of the audience. The lyrics capture the sentiments of a young lady in love in 1940s so very well. Just imagine the social situation in the country where women were supposed to keep their feelings bottled up, and even men were not much better, a song like this gives vent to the feelings of millions of hearts.
Considering that this song is sung and acted on screen by Suraiyya ( a big heart throb of those days), the effect is truly magical.
It is a great and memotrable song. I cannot have enough of this song. I ma sure all followers of old Bolywood music will love to go down memory lane and enjoy listening to this song.
