I have posted a few piano songs from “Andaaz” (1949), all sung by Mukesh and picturised on Dilip Kumar. Here for a change, I post a Lata song picturised on Nargis. And guess what ? This song is not a piano song for a change
Here Nargis sings a song alone in a room, with Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar listening to it from other rooms. This is a sad song and her sadness certainly has something to do with her relationship with Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor.
Majrooh Sultanpuri wrote the song and Naushad was the music director for this song. This is indeed one of the memorable songs from this movie. I know, I know, that I have been saying the same thing about every song from this movie. And I am stating the fact in all the cases. 😉
