Kismat ke khel niraale mere bhayya

As I have dug deeper and gained more information about the songs of Bollywood, I have come to admire the music directors even more.
Ravi is one music director who to my mind deserves lots of admiration. He was the only one who was around when the golden era of Bollywood music began and he was also there when the golden era came to an end. And his contribution in making it the golden era of music was second to none.
Ravi had originally come to Bollywood hoping to make it as a singer. Instead he became a music director, and once he became that, other music directors would not offer him chances as a playback singer.
Ravi sang a few songs in his own movies. In fact, there are a few occasions, where he not only sang under his own music direction, he even wrote the lyrics too !
For instance, take this song from “Ek phool do mali”(1969). This song “Kismat ke khel niraale mere bhayya” is a one man show. Ravi is the singer, lyricist and music ditector of this song. Some sources may mention Prem Dhawan as the lyricist, but it was Ravi who had written the song, as he recently menntioned in an interview to a newspaper.
So here it is. This is a special Ravi song, for the fans of Ravi.
