It is only recently that I have discovered the music of “Ek Gaon Ki Kahaani” (1957). And what music this movie has !
I have posted a superb Talat Mehmood song from this movie already. Here is another song sung by the maestro which is picturised on himself. Shailendra has written this superbly imaginative song. Salil Chaudhary has composed the music.
It is a superb song that one can listen to many a time and still feel like listening to it a few more times.

One of my favourite Talat songs, and this movie had such nice songs!

If the Video is not available due to Copyright reasons, may I request the audio alone to be uploaded. There are no copyright issues for audio as these songs are broadcast over various Radio Stations.

One of favorite Talat Saab Songs …
Dec.26, 1991 – that is the date on which I got this specially recorded Talat Mahmood Songs on a Sony HF90 cassettes to add my ‘music collection’..
