Few people have any idea that there was a movie called “Fashion” (1957). One does not expect much from the songs of a movie with such a name.
One cannot be more wrong, if one thinks that the songs of this movie may be forgettable ones. Hemant Kumar was the music director of this movie and he sang songs too. Here is a duet from this movie that was sung by Hemant Kumar and Lata. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist.
Listening to this song make me want to say what I have said many times vis a vis Hemant Kumar songs-it is a lovely “Chaayaageet” song- ideal for late night listening.
